I have a four hour vacant till my next class so here's some Modern/University AU with Sheriarty straight from my notebook
Sherlock Holmes + The Holmeses
Sherlock double majors in Chemistry and Engineering
He was doing chem and philosophy but he got bored when he realized that he cant learn anything new
Now hes probably thinking of switching engineering to something like psychology or sociology
That being said , hes probably in his second year now but one of the youngest students
Cordelia is alright in this universe. In fact, she probably reminiscents about her rebellion days to Sherlock often
Silas, on the other hand, is more absent than not. Always business business business (where it's either something shady point blank or he's committing embezzlement)
Beatrice is in her highschool rebel phase but she's definitely not going to college and doing work right away. Says one of Silas' connections have work for her
Can never keep a roommate. Everyone's weirded out by him and waken up by him on his laptop in the middle of the night. Not to mention the times he's actually smuggled something in the campus
People know that his brother donates a large sum to the school
They're also well aware that Sherlock is a complete freak with no friends because he doesn't have a filter. He just says what's on his mind and only looks like someone who sucks up to teachers. He only finds them more interesting to talk to if he can learn more
James, on the other hand, is probably older than most of his fellow freshmen
Not sure in oxford/uk but our oldest in our freshmen year was maybe 22 and most of us were 19
James becomes the charismatic extrovert who often takes a lot of work from students but he usually declines them if theyre actually abusing him
He hates sucking up to students but he just HAS to climb the social ladder. Sometimes he'll let others step on him but he's going to just get his revenge some day
His mom's not dead, but his parents are divorced. She's living quite well in a place he saved up to buy her. Rent is rough but he pays on time.
He probably wants to kill his dad. He most likely beat up his dad before the divorce and he ran away with his mother
He loves musicals. He likes the opera, the theatre, and music in general. Though obviously he prefers Irish artists than anything
The theatre club ended up disappointing him when he thought their plays were too understimulating.
Socially, he's an absolute killer. Absolutely charismatic and charmd his way into anything. Would get away with sleeping with a professor. Whether he did that or not is... Well
James probably learned about Sherlock and while being friends with him wasn't a social death, he still didn't bother. There were many weird kids around
He did, though, stalk him a little when Sherlock stole in broad daylight. Sherlock looking as innocent as a baby
