it made me perceive this peace of flesh as something worth painting and thus worth loving. if flowers can bloom on this skin, then this skin can be precious.

ngl, i still spend too much time hating little details about myself - but i can't even imagine hating the part of my body that bears Van Gogh's sunflowers.
