less oppressed people are often so dismissive of oppression. "really you got called slurs? huh." like its so unbelievable and unimaginable because they have never experienced being oppressed. Furthermore, them questioning your oppression so passively gaslights you into double checking "wait maybe i wasn't called a slur yesterday" until reality hits you 2 hours later that just, yep their life really is that much different from yours.
