22 Simply Must-Have Items
To start January off right, I have selected a few of my favorite things and lined them up on a Pinterest Board as a collection of must-have items.
Follow ariesti’s board Wish List 01: Warm Earth Tones on Pinterest.
The first thing I noticed was the Knit Tricolor Sweater Blue from Lavand. The color blend provides a visual stimulation that is both warm and cool. To have a clear view of the sweater, click on the Pinterest board.
The Neck Warner is simply a must for when working late at night and having to go out. I need more of these kinds of items that I could wear at home and when I go places.
Dresses that are knee-length are a great option. I wish I had more of them. In my selection they are in dark green, grey and blue, with a complementing cardigan to defend me from the col, cold wind.
For jewelries, I found the Eileen Stone Encrusted Pendant Necklace a safe option. A colorful pebble pendant to be worn daily, and Gema bracelet.
Maybe this year I would want to start giving jumpsuits a try. The one I pinned on this board is a Blue and Black Wide Leg Jumpsuit. They’re the best option for a clean, efficient look. I think they would be more efficient in more sizes to choose from.
It was actually rather surprising to be finding the Reversible Sweat Jumper and Brewster Quilted Jacket in Black. They looked like they were on the same page. Although they really are not. The jacket is from Belstaff, while the beige jumper is from French Connection.
I decided to add the Black Pannel Legging to my board. Leggings are the first thing I need to wear when trying to work out any kind of knee-length piece.

5 things Tumblr can do that you might not have realised
When I signed up to Tumblr I didn’t necessarily know what I was getting myself into. There was a lot of hype about Tumblr on the web, but what made it different to its competitors?
I expected similar to other blogging experiences; a cookie cutter template with the ability to create “as complex as you can” posts. But to my surprise Tumblr has turned this on its end. The cookie cutter still exists (see the Theme Garden http://www.tumblr.com/themes/), but more on that later. The exciting change was that the template design is wide open, and the posts were structured.
This got me thinking. What are the possibilities with this style of platform? I quickly realised, that what Tumblr represented, was an ability to create a highly customised website to serve almost any purpose. But the most amazing part, its all for FREE.

It’s November, which means that a whole lot of you are sitting down to write an entire novel in a single month for NaNoWriMo, better known as National Novel Writing Month. What you may not be aware of, though, is that another newer movement is happening: NaNoGenMo, which stands for National Novel Generation Month, in which you spend the month of November writing code that generates a novel of over 50,000 words. We’re fully expecting—and are excited about—dada literature, weird spy novels, and the same word 50k times in a row.
The repo for NaNoGenMo this year is on GitHub. Last year. Projects I have read include the definition book, a simple script, a generative detective novel and how to make the bot to do it.

It’s a lot like shopping. I make plans, make decisions, and then I review them before finally making the purchase. Here I am using the Turtle 02 Colour Palette for the Wednesday portion and Peaches 404 for the Bag and Body portion of the sketch. My creative process is filled with bags and bodies.
writing is hard
