me, making a phone call: god i hope they don’t answer

sometimes i remember there is actually no Guarantee for things working out and there is a greater chance of things going terribly, or worse, mundanely. There is no perfect happy ending for everyone And there is nowhere you can go to find it. People die every day without finding it and i probably will too, i guess i can only hope death is kinder than this, or maybe resembles that ending where everything works out. TBH I don’t even know what that would look like

it really is annoying as hell how someone will talk about how poor people can't avoid ethically dubious products because of how being poor works and then someone with a two story house in the suburbs will take that to mean they can order harry potter books through a drone delivery from amazon and if you criticize that you're a bigot
