and obviously it's another thing entirely if someone responds "and what about B people huh??? don't you care about us??" like yes that's rude and selfish but so often I see people react in such a hostile way to someone literally just being like "hey i get it, we're in this together"

and you also see this mindset of "well i shouldn't have to be nice to have human rights. thats respectability politics"

and yes, true. but you kind of need to be nice to make friends. and making friends with folks of other social groups is the #1 way to get people to care and empathize with your cause, and also to learn about their struggles and their strategies to overcome them. why do you see liberation as such a pissing contest that someone relating to your oppression makes you angry?
