Hell, one of the amazing songs of Dis is written by dwarrowscholar >:(
The Road goes ever on and on, Down from the door where it began. Now far ahed the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing with eager feet, Until it joins some larger way Where many paths and errands meet. And wither then? I cannot say
"I've thought of an ending for my book – And he lived happily ever after… to the end of his days."
"And I'm sure you will, my dear friend."
Goodbye dear Bilbo

➥ Character Introduction: Bilbo Baggins
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) dir. Peter Jackson
If I didn't manage to get bagginshield keychains, I at least should get some acorn/oak leaves pins.
I can't explain how much this LOTR promo picture makes me laugh
You have the absolutely gorgeous, flawless Shire in the background, a cozy green paradise with the blue sky, shining sun and rainbow - like something out of a storybook.
Then there's Bilbo, dressed like a fancy chad in the middle of his hobbit paradise, smiling gleefully at this fucking evil ring: ya know he's going to keep that thing at all costs, even if it means something like biting Gandalf's hand.
And leaning into the foreground is our boy Frodo and he's not even giving us a scenery-appropriate happy expression. There's just this neutral seriousness with a barely recognizable hint of disgust. He's staring at the viewer like "Aw no you know what that means. Pls get me outta here". He's already dressed for travelling. He just KNOWS he's going to have to volunteer to get his ass kicked by a bunch of monsters because his uncle just wouldn't throw that damn jewellry away.
And then someone snapped a picture of that.
I love it.
Tolkien inspired songs
A long time ago I made a post about Tolkien’s poems put to music. Sadly I can’t link it because find it anymore- I am afraid it’s been banned. I’ll write it again one day. In the meantime, I thought I would put together a list of songs that ar not Tolkien’s words in music but original composition inspired to his universe. I hope someone finds it useful. Enjoy!

I confess that some of these songs make me cry for real. Some make me laugh. And isn’t it funny that the two styles for a Lotr song seem to be slow, mysterious ballad or hard metal? The magic of this world unites us in mysterious ways.

The Road Goes Ever On and the Misty Mountains song (from chapters 16 and 18 of my comic adaptation of The Hobbit.) anyway: the symbolism of the parallels between these two poems ;-;. [Find links to all my projects here!]
Interesting. This is Bofur's grandson, lol.

Here are some fall things I illustrated for a sticker sheet 🍁
So I ordered a lil Thorin figurine and the parcel appeared to be lost for some time, then ended up in a different parcel shop than I’m used to.. Bro manages to get lost even when he’s being delivered 😭
