i found the original comparison deep in an old blog which was a WILD ride to go through. but considering i took a 9ish year art break i think i'm getting back to good place! my current art "style" is mostly letting mistakes and weird things exist without trying to perfect everything. it's freeing

They’re tiny, clear, schooling catfish! Like a lot of “clear” fish they can have a beautiful rainbow shimmer/refraction in the right light conditions. & They’ve got the little whiskers which make them adorable of course.

In nature they’re found in rivers in Thailand. They’re pretty fragile though, and if kept as pets only belong in large aquariums with lots of other ghost catfish and maybe some other very peaceful fish friends that won’t bully them! 🐟
