like i can't get over how blatant this is. the insistence on calling what is clearly a trans woman a man, even when she's on estrogen. the implication that she won't pass, that a "cis femboy on estrogen" won't just look like a woman, the implication that trans women always look like men. the idea that a misgendered sexualized caricature of transfemininity is a cool subversive bit of representation, the gender goals of a tboy. "i want to look like a girl, but the kind you misgender and disrespect!" transfeminized bodies are a fucking costume to you people. you see it in art, you see it in porn, you see it in drag, you see it in fucking femboy culture, you see it amongst tmes of all stripes. you all want our bodies but you hate the girls who inhabit them. fuck off
this was a comment on shen's newest comic series, the boy from venus. i was immediately wary that this is where his audience would take it. the whole concept in general is a little uncomfortable for me, a clearly tma character (the "femboy") on an arc to "fix" a fucking lolcow twerf. but of course the audience just sees it as #representation for the real victims, the poor gnc boys. shen i love you but i need you to stop beating around the fucking bush with the femboy stuff because jesus christ your audience does not have the capacity to understand transmisogyny
like i'm not gonna feel warm fuzzies about that girl, i've literally been harassed and mocked by dozens of her for close to a year straight atp.
and i'm certainly not gonna feel warm fuzzies about a degendered tma girl "femboy" being put into the role of fixing her (and tolerating her emotional abuse in the process)
