THANK YOU. I feel like this line really put this season into perspective. It doesn't excuse a lot of the downsides, but I think the idea that the show is trying to make us "feel bad" for Bryce is wrong. They're showing how even the worst people can seem good, or perhaps even /can/ do good things. But he did horrible things, and we shouldn't forget that, and that doesn't mean he should get away from any sort of punishment. Ultimately, he's still selfish-- like when he tried to apologize to Jessica. He was doing it for himself, to make himself feel better. Otherwise he wouldn't have gotten angry.
