There are no racial slurs.
There is something we heard in one of the teasers already. There are harsh and very direct words.
There are words that some will have a hard time stomaching.
The racism accusations come from the same people who argued for years the show βwould never bring those book canon thingsβ because of the optics and the recasts. From the same people who made their fandom identity that Lestat was the big bad abuser, and who argued that both Louis and Claudia were his poor victims. That [redacted] [redacted]
And that is literally all there is to it.
Calling everything they didnβt like βracistβ worked like a charm for years now. Why would they change their tune?
