for the record its "what am i without you?" "yourself?" not "yourself." the question mark is so important to the quote
#imo this line is such a direct insight into ctub's thought process#this isn't some big thing he thinks long and hard about like this is the instant logical leap his brain makes#'yourself?' as in 'what else could you be?'#and correct me if i'm wrong. but with a little implication of 'how could me being gone affect your sense of personhood?'#even tho so much of ctub's own personhood (from his own perspective) relies on ctommy. he just can't picture it applying in reverse#because so much of ctub's actions are subconsciously rooted in self-hatred . and the idea that if he relies on anyone besides himself#that hes weak#ok. sorry this got me
