If any parent comes across this please see your child as something more than a task. give them autonomy and agency. See their gifts and cultivate that. Allow them to express themselves righteously. Give them choice. Give them conversation. Listen. Build the bridge. It’s so necessary.

I wish I was little again

Craving connection but running from all forms of it because it terrifies me. They all leave or they hurt me to the point that I have no choice but to walk away. I feel empty and deeply lonely inside but the feeling of being hurt again is far worse so I choose solitude. I know good people exist but I won’t risk it so I run.
