🔥 — what makes your muse lose control emotionally? ⚡ — what triggers anger your muse doesn’t want to acknowledge?

honestly ... these are one in the same and it's someone treating Ookurikara unfairly. as well as being afraid of fire (which is ironic for a chef), mitsutada tends to keep his thoughts to himself and internalize when he's bothered. but heshikiri hasebe pisses him off badddd. the two do NOT get along.

💭 — what does your muse wish someone would say to them? 🕊️ — does your muse forgive easily? or never?

they call this guy the forgiverrrr. it doesn't matter if someone treats him badly, he'll probably say it's fine and move on with his day. he doesn't hold grudges. as for what he wishes someone would say to him, something along the lines of "you can be yourself around me, you know?"

his facade of being so silly and impetuous will crack someday.

🌙 — what memory haunts your muse the most? 🧩 — what contradiction defines your muse?

the memory that haunts him the most is the first time that one of Atsuko's swords broke. he was in charge of keeping everyone safe and he failed -- he saw his failures come face to face with souza samonji's grief and anger. the two of them have a strained relationship where souza forgives him, but mikazuki can't forgive himself.

the contradiction that defines him best is 'smile, even when you are sad.'

... now isn't that sweet. He takes the magatama charm gently, as though it were a delicate glass sculpture. Mikazuki is no stranger to feelings, though he usually kept his under stricter lock and key than this ... But something about the shinsengumi sword just makes his heart flutter. Maybe it's how sweet Izuminokami Kanesada is, how earnest his feelings are. Maybe it's because he's always handled Mikazuki gently.

Either way, he tiptoes and leans up to give him his own show of affection by kissing his cheek.

"Thank you very much, Izuminokami Kanesada. You don't need to say what you need to; I can surmise your feelings from this gift alone. And know that I accept them wholeheartedly. Ohoho, there's no need to be so nervous! I'm not that intimidating, am I?"

"When I'm the only customer on the menu, I often go for something simple, but full of protein. I burn a lot of energy cooking for others, so it makes sense that I'd want to replace all that. It's a rice bowl with some canned tuna, mackerel, or salmon. I like to add a little sauteed vegetables too, since those are easy to make."
