Aight so this is a really weird thing to ask but alright here's my struggle mate: I am using a program that only allows me three layers at a time, and I'm too broke to buy the premium for $9 (the app itself is free) so tell me, how can I make the best use of these three layers?
hi there! so just in advance, i’ve never drawn w apps on phones/tablets before so i have little idea how they work.
so in case you can’t delete a layer you don’t wanna use, i’d do this (in this layer order arrangement):
(3rd step): last touch ups, cleaning up
(1st step): sketch in a light color (light blue, pink), try to keep it as clean as possible. do the cleaner lineart on the same layer with a darker color of your preference. if you can delete layers you don’t need, i’d do sketch on a separate layer and do lineart on top
(2nd step): base colors, lighting

yeah just as i said, i have never drawn on phones/tablets before. i’ve heard a lot of good things about medibang! i think it’s free. if you have any questions about this app, you should ask cyanparade, as i have seen her use it quite often!
