Welcome to my blog! It's solely dedicated to my FNaF AU, which I have been writing for years. Shamelessly, it's an AU of an AU, being based on the discontinued Rebornica AU from quite some time ago. I consider my AU as a large rewrite of those decade-old comics, as well as an homage to the early days of the FNaF fandom I have great nostalgia for. I hope you enjoy your stay as I work on this massive passion project!
ⓘ DISCLAIMER: I do not support Rebornica or their past actions in any shape or form. I have simply attached myself to the characters at a young age, which then developed into something of my own making. I still consider myself and my AU part of the RebFNaF fandom, because where would I be without it? Love you guys :-D

I go by the user ChuckleCoffin on all sites, but you may refer to me as Raúl. I am the sole writer and owner of the AU. I also have a strawpage linked in my blog's bio if you'd like to know me a little bit more and check me out on other media sites!
!!!𝕎𝔸ℝℕ𝕀ℕ𝔾/𝔹𝕐𝔽!!!
My AU will contain strong themes, such as but not limited to: violence, drug abuse/addiction, familial abuse, self-harm, homophobia, child death (duh), animal death, and mental deterioration. If what is listed bothers you, then this blog isn't for you.
I may draw or write about lightly suggestive topics, as I am an adult and enjoy adult things. These posts will come with their own 16+ warning, but overall my account is 13+ :-9
That being said, this blog won't feature any NSFW content. Such artwork will be posted to 18+ sites.
Please be respectful on my blog; I want no part in violent discourse whatsoever. We can discuss things civilly. If you have any questions, always let me know! I try my best to be as open as I can.
One last thing, DNI: basic criteria (LGBTphobes, proshippers, racists, all that jazz).

Yes, it's the last day of the month, y'all know me. I actually planned for a lot more pride-themed posts, but never got around to them, apologies!
Anyways, thought I'd share the joy (or terror) of my oc x fanon :-) I absolutely adore these two; this year is the eighth I've shipped them together. They've grown beside me for practically half my life and mean the world to me. So cheesy, I know. I'd love to share more about them in the future :-9 I just feel like a total dork when I do
Alternative question mark version:
Felt really nostalgic adding it back. I don't believe I've included it in my design in three years!
And if you're curious, Jeremy made the sweaters :-)

Hello guys! Sorry for my absence again. I've been working on larger, video-formatted posts as of late, and I want to push them out as soon as I can. However, I recently took a break this past weekend and made an arrangement of stamps for the Rebornica AU that I'm excited to share! Hope this feeds any starving fans.
I personally love stamps, and these were really fun to make! This was my first attempt at taking a stab at them, so I apologize if they seem a little wonky. I plan to create more. In fact, I have a few waiting to be posted in a separate batch since I wanted to keep this neat three-by-three grid. Otherwise, my layout looked absolutely disgusting, bleh.
All art is by Rebornica, with minor edits applied by myself for consistency and neatness across the gifs. I hope to make some stamps for my AU/interpretation, just for my own enjoyment ;-9
It'll probably be more obvious once I release my other designs of less hyped characters, but I actually don't use references when I first start redesigning them!
My basis usually comes from my childhood memories of religiously consuming the original comics, and over time, my vision of them became distorted. For example, in canon, Faith's hair was black and long, but from memory, I interpreted it to be short and dark brunette, which I then further headcanonized into being a lighter brown with a unique crescent silhouette. It's like playing a game of telephone within my own head!
I feel that Faith was on the lighter end of the spectrum of this phenomenon I've experienced when putting my own spin on the characters. And though she's so different, she still feels like the same little girl to me. But that may be due to my own bias since I enjoy my design just a bit more than the original. Let me know what y'all think! Are there any Faith enthusiasts out there?
Extra:
I also took some inspo from movie Mike for the security uniform, I actually quite like it!
Will games outside the first two be adapted into the AU?
Hi! Thank you for your ask!
I’ve actually covered this before in a now-deleted post many months ago, and that's because I felt I could explain it a lot better than I did originally, so thank you for the opportunity to! I wrote out like four drafts for this question, embarrassingly, so I figured going over each game beyond the first and second chronologically would be the most organized. Hope it’s coherent enough!
FNaF3 - I’ve gone back and forth with myself on whether I ever wanted to touch on Fazbear’s Fright within my AU. Right now, it’s a theoretical sequel to what I have planned for the current story once it’s concluded. So I haven’t actually planned out much for its own narrative and sequence of events. The general outline I currently have is that, rather than taking place in 2033, it would take place in the fall of 2013 instead. This is mostly due to my personal bias against futuristic timelines in FNaF overall. Plus, the game always read to me back in the day as taking place within the 2000s-2010s, especially with the phone dude’s slang usage. The only characters I can see making a comeback for this sequel would be Mike, the missing children, and Vincent. The rest of the characters would have moved on with their lives, so this new narrative would either introduce an entirely new cast or just be a Mike and Vincent showdown. Again, I haven’t made any huge plans definitively for this story arc, so really it’s up in the air as of now. We will get there once we get there.
FNaF4 - I would say the adaptation is half and half. To start, the Afton family does not exist at all within my AU. Michael Afton and Mike Schmidt are not the same person, though Vincent Bishop and William Afton are. The Bite of ‘83 also does not happen within my AU; there is only one bite to ever occur, that taking place at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza in 1987. Fredbear’s Family Diner does exist within the AU and has significant importance to the story. The nightmare animatronics exist to an extent. Mike has vivid dreams due to Faith’s influence on his subconscious mind as she tries to communicate with him. These subliminal messages often get distorted through Mike’s dreams, causing him to have nightmares of the animatronics (that, and his genuine fear of them). The house in the game is also not prevalent in my AU, so no, Mike’s nightmares are not the gameplay of FNaF4.
FNaFSL and onwards - I don’t plan to ever adapt these games ever, as they tend to have a more sci-fi approach to the series, which I can’t say that I enjoy. My AU is explicitly explained by the paranormal and is on par with our real-world technological knowledge. So no, the animatronics do not have any consciousness beyond the children inside of them, nor do they have crazy advanced technology for their respective time periods (which is another thing I have to be careful of when writing the springlock suits and FNaF2’s animatronics having “AI facial scans and criminal data bases”, which can make for its own blog post). I’m an overthinker to the fullest. Though saying I haven’t borrowed a single thing from any of these games would be a lie. I did appreciate FNaFPS for the couple of lore bits through the various minigames. I particularly liked the Fruity Maze game with Susie and her dog. I have a short story in mind with Vincent using Susie’s puppy as a means to lure her into his trap; it’ll be best once I start working on it for sure. The other major one I can think of is the Security Puppet’s Minigame, being the origin for Vincent’s first ever victim in terms of surrounding the Fazbear establishments. Midnight Motorist was where I also borrowed the name “Jr’s” for my FNaF2 establishment, but nothing beyond that.
I’ll go a step further and say I have no plans to adapt the books either. I’ve read the original trilogy and dipped my toes in a few of the later additions, but they honestly never felt like FNaF to me (plus they were supposed to be a completely separate canon from the games before whatever Steel Wool is doing now…). So I won't be touching on remnant, hallucination discs, or whatever the hell else was going on in those stories. I will say that Henry Emily is a name mentioned within my AU, but he has no prominent role like he somewhat did in FNaFPS, having the same demise as he did in the books (though by typical means rather than with a robot, psh). Charlie Emily, however, is important by being the spirit of the Puppet/Marionette. But it’s simply just name borrowing as they don’t have anything in common, really.
As always, thank you for the question! Hope I gave a clear enough answer. I truly apologize for the long wait. Due to circumstances in my real life, I haven’t been able to really sit down and work on my writing or art, but now things are sorting themselves out to give me the time to get back to work. Swear on everything, the universe is out for me any time I actually get the motivation to post more often :’D But I am back! And hopefully here to stay a while. I have more big projects I want to work on, so I think I’ll have a couple of things to post next week for this blog. Stay tuned!
Broad question incoming but what's the general premise of your FNAF AU?
Hello! Thank you for the ask! Sorry, it took me a minute to get around to it, because you’re totally right! It is a very broad question, so I wanted to make my response as cohesive (and short) as possible.
My AU is entirely based on Rebornica’s FNaF AU that ran between August 2014 and February 2015 before being passed on to a new owner. For those unfamiliar with the original comic series, its main premise is this:
Mike Schmidt was the victim of the bite of ‘87, committed by Foxy (as opposed to who everyone theorizes as Mangle in the current day of the FNaF lore). Mike was supposed to die due to the traumatic injury inflicted on his frontal lobe, but was ultimately given a second chance by the fifth child, Faith, who had attached herself to him. Mike now suffers from amnesia, not remembering the bite or the events leading up to it.
My AU could also be summarized by what I described above, though a lot more expanded upon. To avoid having my premise turn into a long-winded synopsis (as I tend to get carried away on this blog way too often), I’ll only say my AU is a lot more focused on Mike being driven to uncover Freddy’s secrets due to the fifth child’s (fully named Faith Woods) influence on Mike’s subconscious. In the original, it wasn’t written entirely well, in my honest opinion. So I hope to make a compelling story with these characters I’ve loved so dearly for over a decade now!
I plan to write a complete guide for my AU that'll be linked under my pinned post :9 It’ll be available for anyone wanting to know the ins and outs of my entire AU. Completely optional for casual viewers, of course! So far, I’m about halfway done with the layout of how I want it to be organized. It’ll feature not only the general plot and timeline but also insights into each character I haven't officially introduced yet. I have set a deadline of Late November for myself to complete it, which may or may not be plenty of time. Of course, I would like it out as soon as possible, but I'm only one person working on this crazy project. So hope ya’ll enjoy in the meantime! I’m always open to more questions, they help out with what I might need to include in my document for my AU :D
Hope this was helpful! Thanks again for your question!
I've always wanted to see how my designs hold up to the original designs of the Rebornica AU, and I thought, 'What better way to do it than redrawing those tank top pieces Rebornica made of the guards in their initial run?'
So, who better to start with than good ol' Mike Schmidt! Well, first I thought to redraw all of them at once and post them in a bundle on here, but seeing how long this one took me (30 hours), I decided to release them in their own posts one at a time. Which means I get to yap about them each a little more! Yahoo!
Not only was this a redraw to compare the two, but also to get practice on my anatomy and characterization skills. I took a few notes below on how I draw Mike's appearance for true reference. I also thought about making a tankless version to study deeper on the anatomy part, but rendering torsos is kind of hard... Wouldn't want anyone to bear witness to that! Maybe once I get better at it.
One thing I've always feared was steering too far from the canon. It's not my intent to make them unrecognizable from their sources, but sometimes changes are needed within a character's design. Not only that, but it's also fun. What would a fandom be without headcanons?
Reasons for the more notable changes:
I didn't include the bruises (confirmed to be from Chica) because this specific Mike I drew is from my version of FNaF2. Would've cleared up in the two-year gap between the two locations, don't you think? I was going to give him other injuries since I'd think he'd get caught up in crazy stuff due to his poor rational thinking, but I just didn't get around to it. Oh well.
Bald-to-buzzcut. I've actually betrayed myself doing this. I used to say I would never give Mike hair, yet here we are. Why? I guess it had grown on me. A lot of people like to point out connections to Eminem when speaking about Mike, so it could have originated from there. (Or maybe I got sick of drawing his ugly, bald head).
Okay, somebody is bound to ask about the scars, and I do have a real answer! In the original AU, Mike's scarring didn't exactly make sense to me. I mean, the way it's drawn in the art I used above looks like it affects the parietal lobe more than the frontal, from the way it wraps around the head. You know, what his whole character is centered around. Having 'no' frontal lobe (though I don't really believe it's all gone). The only time I've seen skull reconstruction scars like how it was originally depicted is from car crash survivors. I don't think a tampered-with animatronic fox has the power to do all that. I have a lot more to say on this, but I don't want to go on too long. It can make for its own post someday.
A smaller difference, I feel silly for never noticing, was the eyebrows. Mike literally had no eyebrows, wow. I've entirely fabricated a lie.
With all that said, I feel that my Mike has changed a lot over the years, seeing what fits and what doesn't. Next to his source material, it's a jarring sight! (Worse next to the grey one...) But even so, it feels correct to me. Let me know your thoughts! I love seeing everyone's interpretations of all the guards; I feel that's what makes this fandom truly special.
oh my goddd oh my god. oh my god. wow. i really love this ohmy gofd
ok genuinely tho i love all the attention to detail here and how much love you put into this!! it means a lot when people put so much care into my man,, he’s so gorgeous here i love him so much
ALSO EMINEM MIKE MENTION!! eminem mike is my favorite hc everrrrruugghhh🤤🤤🤤
Glad I was able to do him some justice! And I'm really stoked to see others appreciate my meticulous work :-D I really want to draw him more often; he has crept his way up to being one of my favorites at the moment. He's my little cutie pie
Fun fact: I actually used pictures of younger Marshall Mathers as a reference to decide some of my Mike's features :-9

Meant to post a completely different piece today, but that wasn’t going to get done on time, so I had some backup! Yes, even the backup is being posted at 11pm, I’ll get better at my awful time management eventually! The other piece will still get posted down the line, so don’t worry. It’ll probably be next week’s Jerno content.
Anyways, this was still pretty difficult to fill out for me! Made me think a little harder than just drooling over them kissing, but I hope this makes at least a lick of sense. I didn’t really have a lot of space to put what I really wanted to (I’m sure y’all can tell by how much I type on here).
Oh yeah, some good news, I got an ao3 account now! What the perfect day to finally receive my invitation. Seriously, did not think the process took all that, otherwise I would’ve done it sooner! I haven’t really set anything up yet so it’s still bare bones, but feel free to subscribe (?) to it ahead of time, my user is ChuckleCoffin as always. I’ll probably link it somewhere in the future, most definitely when I start publishing some of my works. So nervous to share my writing, but I think it’s a great opportunity to grow :-)
The template I used is under the cut for anyone wanting to use it!
I meant to post this huge piece on here weeks ago, oopsies! I'll correct that habit soon, promiiiise. Anyways, this took me an embarrassing amount of time to finish.
Jeremy's face is only censored simply because I didn't like how it turned out, no deeper meaning :9 It's still up as the original on my Instagram page, but it's so pixelated that it's basically already censored. Speaking of which, Instagram's dogshit quality legit erased all of the detailing in this piece, so infuriating after spending so much time on every scratch. Bah! whatever. Hopefully, it turns out better here. The song he's singing is "I Know It's Over" by The Smiths, in case you were wondering. I've always thought he'd enjoy listening to the band.
I wrote about Jeremy's stutter under the cut based on some interesting research I came across recently. Thought it would be a good use to anyone else writing a character with a stutter who also happens to enjoy singing. It's a lot, so I don't blame you for not reading, lol.
TLDR: Speech and singing use slightly different locations in the brain. Therefore, stuttering doesn't occur whilst singing. How interesting!
It's always been a big question for me in the past to include this part of the official trivia on whether or not Jeremy has the ability to sing in my AU. I say this because in my AU, Jeremy's stutter is confirmed to be a medical condition. It wasn't exactly clear in the original web comics if this was also confirmed true in canon, since it seemed to me that everyone treated it as being related to low confidence issues or anxiety. So, because of my change, I ruled out the possibility of singing as something that couldn't be done with my iteration of Jeremy on the very simple thought that the stutter would be too much of an issue for him.
However, this linear view of how stuttering works within the brain would be completely flipped. Recently (well, not really. Months ago, by now) I came across an account by the name of travis.stuttering on my TikTok feed, whose whole page is about his repetition stutter - one of the same stutter types as my Jeremy! So, of course, I was inclined to visit his page to learn anything new that I could.
After scrolling through video after video, one stood out to me. Travis was able to sing music he had written without stuttering at all! Which reminded me of the question I've had in the back of my mind for years: can Jeremy sing? So, I scrolled through the singing playlists on his page. Alongside that, I checked the comments of each video to see if he ever explained how he could, since I was still unsure if this was something only he could do as someone with a stutter, somehow.
Most of the comments were secondhand experiences of people who knew of others' stutters seemingly disappearing once they sang. Another great lead! But of course, being TikTok, all the replies from other strangers were garbage, falsely exclaiming why this would be the case. Usually along the lines of increasing your focus and muscle control (sure, maybe for non-neurological forms of stuttering that stem from shyness or anxiety, I guess. But it's not as simple as "just focusing harder" for those who deal with it in day-to-day speech). So, I had to take my search to Google instead.
The obvious question was "how does singing differentiate itself from speech within the brain?", which led me to this article. Skipping down to Brain Activation During Singing and Speech, I get more of what I'm looking for. It reads "Both singing and speech activate areas like the motor cortex, auditory cortex, and language centers. However, singing triggers more bilateral activation between the left and right hemispheres... In contrast, speech centers on left hemisphere language areas..." This was the key difference in brain activity I was looking for.
So, what does all of this mean? I'll try to put it simply. Speech's localized neural network in the left hemisphere of the brain doesn't utilize feedback. Instead, it uses feedforward. Speech is naturally filled with pauses and impromptu, which causes stuttering to occur more often as words are halted and thought about. Since singing opens the right hemisphere of the brain, it utilizes the new areas to rely on feedback rather than feedforward. This feedback is a rhythm or beat to follow along. Think of it as having a prewritten script to read rather than having to improvise during a play rehearsal.
Well, there you go! Now, this doesn't mean that singing absolutely cancels out any stutter within anyone, as there are no absolutes in any type of science. But as for my Jeremy, I like to say he is able to have the ability to enjoy singing in his free time.
As for this, I am unsure of what to think. Personally, I just don't see him taking on an entire career to do something so public due to his petrifying social anxiety. Maybe if he were anonymous, sure, like that one episode of Fluttershy having to fill in for Big Mac (god, the inner brony is escaping).
Anyways, sorry this post ended up reading more as a research paper than anything. I was honestly so excited about my findings since it's something I've never really thought too hard about before, and now my question had been answered! So, I am happy to pass along the information.
I'm really passionate about Jeremy's stutter, and I plan to go in-depth about it in my AU masterdoc in its own special section under his character information. It's always been something that intrigued me, and I'll gladly explain more areas of it if asked. I've even been holding onto the perfect voice claim for him that I think represents his stutter the best. I've only put it off since I want my voice claims video to be big and appealing, soon chat trust. It's actually perfect.
I seriously recommend the travis.stuttering page on TikTok, as it goes through a lot of commonly asked questions about stuttering. It should be linked earlier in this post with the underline, as well as the article I mentioned. been having trouble with them though... Hopefully, both the embedded links work, or I'll probably cry or something. Anyways, peace out B)
Hi all! I've been wanting to dedicate the month of February to my oc x canon ship, being the season of love and all. So, I thought I'd start off with something simple :-) I hope to post at least once a week. I think four pieces are achievable in one month. Been trying to recover from going months without drawing even a simple doodle.
fun fact, I think it's been about eight whole years (~2018) since I've started shipping them! So crazy.
I tried posting this to Instagram yesterday, but for some reason, the post was unavailable to half my audience? It's done this to me before, so annoying. I'll have to reupload it later or something, so this is somewhat of a blog exclusive in the meantime.
Which reminds me, I actually do want to start making blog-exclusive posts for my FNaF AU. Not important or big art pieces for sure, but more on the extras side. I also want to gain a habit of posting here first, rather than Instagram. Possibly up to a week ahead. I'll definitely start that soon.
Anyways, these are their pony designs. My OC's name is Yuno (left). I had trouble coming up with a unique cutiemark design for them both, mainly Yuno's. I first thought of an ankh, but that was pretty basic for a gothic pony; the same goes for dark roses, hearts, and bones. Self-proclaimed free-thinking goths, tsk (only jokes). I drew him with a skeleton key cutiemark since I thought it matched his aesthetic, but I had no idea how to justify what his mark even means (hence, "?idfk"). But after I finished it, I thought a little harder on it. To me, it means to break out of social normalcy. The wings represent freedom (and they're bats to show his gothic nature). I'm very cheesy, I know.
Gyah! Almost for got to post this here. This is my pride month art!! Sorry I couldn’t provide more for this month, things got very busy. But to celebrate I at least drew my oc x fanon ship between my oc Yuno and Jeremy. They are very dear to my heart. Hopefully I can post more about them soon, I’ll be doing artfight this year with them too!
