The Songs That Made Me

I really like this song, it makes me giggle a bit when I hear it. I call this genre of music “aggressively kohls” it sounds exactly like the type of music they would play in those stores. But nevertheless this song is very calming to me for some reason…

I’ve been trying to figure some things out lately and it’s been frustrating as all hell. Some days I cannot figure out what I’m doing and other days I feel like I’m flying high, it’s weird to say the least. thankfully for me, as a song bro, I’ve found a new band that seems to perfectly encapsulate my mental state, BEARTOOTH!

The music these dudes make is insane, the switch from nice clean vocals with an acoustic guitar to dirty vocals and heavy metal in an instant. The dichotomy here is *mwahh 🤌🏻* chefs kiss.

Periphery is one of the most musically satisfying band to listen to. I just feel like they understand music on a whole different level, the scales change seamlessly, the guitar work is phenomenal, and they add so much to the music scene. To this day I still can’t believe that they’re a garage band. I highly recommended this band to anyone who just loves music

This song is about fate and free will. I’ve always wondered which is truly real. Fate seems like a really cool thought until you realize that it means that everything is predetermined in life. What’s the point if that’s the case? If everything is already destined to happen, why worry at all?

I like the idea of free will so much better because then the only stopping me is my own conscience. I can go anywhere, do anything in theory.

This song always makes me think of @writingskaska. I found it very shortly after meeting her and had to share it so I did! I have no idea why I think of that moment every time I hear this song as it sounds goofy saying it out loud.

She is one of the greatest people I’ve ever met and it was by pure happenstance that we even began talking. I am really glad we met though, you’ve helped me through some rough times and I really appreciate it!

I’ve always found classical music to be so fascinating! The way all the different instruments flow to create such a strong emotional piece is amazing to me.

Suite No. 3 In D-major “air” is one of my absolute favorite pieces of all time, it’s so melancholic in nature. It’s another one of those songs that just gives me an intense vivid imagination of a place. In this case for me I always picture being behind a the clock on a tower when it’s a really rainy day. I could honestly describe the whole room I picture when I hear this song.

String quartet No. 14 in D-minor “death and the maiden” is a piece that just tells a whole story as it goes on. from the slower beginning, to the intense middle mark, all the way to waning end, this song is just beautiful.

This is the first band I ever saw in concert and really enjoyed, along with slipknot. Me and my best friend went out to Denver for knotfest and when these guys came on they put on a great show. Their music is some of my favorite to this day.
