so...how many people have come up to you expressing concern for thor? i saw the trailer and then all the comments. everyone is concerned about you and chris evans! i also realized that you have been playing this character for fifteen years and trying to wrap my mind around that. @chrshmsworth

More than you'd think. I've had people telling me Thor better be okay like I've personally got control over the script. I appreciate the concern, but Marvel's security team would tackle me before I could tell you anything useful. And yeah, fifteen years is insane. Don't say it too loudly, it makes my back hurt just thinking about it. I've basically grown up alongside the bloke at this point. And Evans, I'm concerned about him too. Mostly because he keeps coming back after saying he's done. Poor bastard can't escape.

I could see that with all the backstory to that character. You really made him your own. I love being the bad guy as a few of my ex girlfriends would tell you but I'm rarely cast that way. I played Jean Valjean in Les Misérables as a teenager and would love to play him again but this time on Broadway.

I'm not going anywhere near the ex-girlfriends comment, mate. I've learned enough in my life to know when something is a trap.But Jean Valjean on Broadway? That's a pretty bloody good one to want another shot at. Especially getting to come back to a character you played as a teenager with everything you've learned since. I imagine you'd find an entirely different bloke in there now.

listen, i'm not saying i'm a long lost hemsworth brother or anything but between the long blond hair and the fact we're both aussies, i think it might be possible in some other universe. are you still rocking the long hair these days or is that long gone? i know there's a new avengers movie in the works but i have no idea if thor is even around still or not.

With the eyes, blond hair and the Aussie passport, you're already halfway there. Mum and Dad have some explaining to do. The long hair's gone on my end, though. I did my time. And Thor's still kicking around. Apparently they haven't figured out how to get rid of me yet. Doomsday's coming in December, and then I've got Secret Wars ahead of me, so the hammer hasn't been hung up just yet. Although now I'm thinking we missed an opportunity. You could've shown up with the long blond hair, swung the hammer, claimed to be another Hemsworth, and just waited to see how long it took Marvel to notice.

Thanks, man. Looking forward to the craziness of it all. I'm already used to still being asked about projects I did 20 years ago, still hear mention of The Notebook everywhere I go. This is just on a slightly bigger scale.

Mate, if you've survived twenty years of people asking you about The Notebook, you're more prepared for Marvel than I ever was. Although give it a few years and you'll have people stopping you in the street asking you to do the flaming skull thing on command. At least I just get asked where my hammer is.

Hey, mate. I'm good! Sunday was pretty quiet, which I'm not complaining about. I've been filming over here in Australia, so I took the chance to sleep in a little, grab a coffee, get a workout in, and spend some time by the water. How about you?

This how you need to look it and take in everything that life does hand you. i will never let it get me down. it's been fun getting back out there and thank you for that it means a lot to me. we did lose today but you can't win them all.

Exactly. You don't get to appreciate the wins without taking a few losses along the way. And hey, one game doesn't define a season. If it did, none of us would've had much of a career. The important part is you're back out there doing what you love. The rest has a funny way of taking care of itself. Keep your head up, keep enjoying it, and the wins will come. I'm still cheering from Australia.

it's funny how we both have the disney connection but it couldn't be on further ends of the scale. imagine a role reversal. though, i know i couldn't do thor justice. you seriously were perfect for that role and i know things are always locked tight on the subject but if you could go back for another movie, would you? @chrshmsworth

Can you imagine me trying to sing my way through Camp Rock? We'd have been shut down halfway through the first number. And thanks, mate. That means a lot. Let's just say I haven't hung the hammer up yet. I've got Doomsday coming out later this year, and then we're diving straight into filming Secret Wars. So if anyone was hoping they'd seen the last of the big blonde bloke with questionable impulse control, I'm afraid they're out of luck. At this point, I think Thor and I are just stuck with each other. Not the worst roommate to have.

We could've fixed this months ago if one of us had simply been brave enough to send a "Hey, I miss you." Luckily, I decided to be the courageous one. I've been good, darling—busy, divorced, but good. These days I'd settle for conquering your schedule long enough to steal you away for dinner and a proper catch-up. Though knowing us, we'd end up talking for hours and forget the rest of the world for a little while. What are you doing lately? are you filming something? tell me everything, otherwise I will start to think you're avoiding me . So tell me, Mr. Hemsworth... how is everything?

You beat me to it. I was clearly building up to it, it just happened to take me a couple of months. I'm glad you're doing well, though. And yes, I heard. I'm sorry you had to go through all of that. I also know you well enough to know you'll come out the other side just fine. Dinner sounds perfect, actually. We really are the sort of people who'd sit down at seven, look up, and suddenly it's midnight. I'm back home in Australia filming Extraction 3 at the moment, so life mostly consists of long days, trying not to break anything important, and pretending my body still recovers like it did a decade ago. What have you been up to? I saw Practical Magic 2 is about to come out, which I'm ridiculously excited about. How's that been? And what else have you got keeping you busy these days?

Life for me his been up and down but you have to take the good with the bad that's just how it goes but on a side note i'm very exctied to get back out on the court with my team this week and i  hope everyone his a great weekend. @limelightblvdstarters

I reckon that's about the healthiest way you can look at it. The highs feel a bit sweeter because you've lived through the lows. I'm glad you're getting back out there with your team, though. Cheers, mate. I had a lot of fun with that one. It's hard to pick just one because every role scratches a different itch, but Thor will probably always have a special place for me. I've been lucky enough to grow up with that character. That said, I really enjoy getting the chance to play someone who's a bit morally questionable every now and then. Turns out being the bad guy can be a lot of fun... as long as I get to leave him on set at the end of the day. What about you? Is there a role you've done that you wish you could revisit?

So… are we pretending we've both been too busy to text, or are we acknowledging that we're terrible at keeping in touch? I miss you. That's the whole message, really, but I figured I should add a few more words to make it seem less alarming. @chrshmsworth

I think we can safely blame life for about 80% of it. The other 20% is probably just us assuming the other person's busy and then accidentally letting six months disappear. I miss you too, Nic. We really are hopeless at this. We live in the same country half the time, work in the same industry, have about forty mutual friends, and somehow catching up still feels impossible. Let's fix that soon. How have you been doing? Still planning to conquer the world?
