so, to recap... i fly halfway across the world to see you perform and we have a great time after. dinner, drinks, the whole shebang and i then go back to work and don't hear from you for a month and start to feel a bit neglected. did i miss anything important in there? joking aside, how've you been, lovato? any time for your favorite british lad any time soon? when you put it like that, it sounds sooo bad. i'm here willing to do whatever i need now to get you to stop feeling that way. where in the world are you right now? nothing too important, i promise. besides, if there was something, i would have at least texted you. everything's been good though and since things are quiet now, i've got all the time in the world. i'd ask how you're doing but i'd much prefer hearing that answer in person.

everyone thought it would happen and i high-key wish it had. kicking myself for it from now till eternity. it doesn't just leave us open to something in the future... it's nearly guaranteed at this point, even if i have to kick and scream to make it happen. i'm also an independent artist now, so i have a lot more say than i did before. you're going to make me cry, demi. like... you're such an inspiration and i love that we've become friends. i've always got time for you and in between shows for the festival tour i should be able to make something happen. definitely meant to be.

i want to be mad about it but what you did come out was incredible. so consider this my demand for getting in on the next. we have a deal? it has to be. i mean the people want it. we want it so all signs are pointing towards the future. i'm so glad you're getting your say in things. it's even more of a testament to what you've put out there. and nooo, no tears please unless they're happy ones. it's all true though and i'm so glad that we have, too. you've got a friend and a fan for life in me. are you doing festivals now? i have some down time and would love to see you doing your thing.

you have a pass. don't even worry about it. i'd say that they have. i know i'm one of them and you should be fully proud. it's been amazing all around but especially in things recently. just a couple and will put them to good use.

you and i need to have a movie date night again soon, girl. i'll cook dinner and supply snacks, and you'll pick the movie. any movie is fair game, as i'm not in it because that would be too much to suffer through. try to pick the worst movie you can think of. if it's a film series then even better, because then we can torture ourselves for hours until we feel like ripping out our eyeballs. but hey... at least we'll have snacks to make us feel better and each other for company through the torturous endeavor.
