I am a faunsari transmasc butch sapphic leaning pansexual/lesbian

I am a member of a DID system. We are bodily 19yrs old. We do not know how many alters we currently have :3 We may reblog system content sometimes, but we do not engage in syscourse. (Link to a list of our current headcount)

Normally I (Ree) will be the one online! Idk if Nico or some of the others will come on here but maybe!

We have: DID, ASD, GAD, MDD, OCD, ADHD, maybe more

Bodily we are chronically ill and disabled. We have: Fibromyalgia, ME/CFS, IBS, Dysautonomia, and more

We are Alterhuman. Therian and Otherkin. Our theriotypes are Silver fox and wolf and golden retrievers but we are still figuring stuff out. Awakened 6-22-26. As of 7-1-26 only recently found good labels for myself.

I am polyam and love my friends/partners/qprs/etc. I am ok with compliments but I am not interested or looking for a partner on here so please do not try and pursue me romantically.

My brain makes little distinction between romantic and platonic attraction and those lines are very blurry

You just have to let yourself be yourself as you are now. Whether you have or haven't retained behaviours of your kintype or source. Otherwise, you're constantly forcing yourself to act one way or the other.

And by forcing yourself to act a certain way to placate others, you're just setting yourself up for no reason.

The weirder you are, the less weirded-out people get when you do weird things.

Start small and build up your weirdness.

Ex. I started wearing a thin choker, and over the course of many weeks I got thicker and thicker chokers/necklaces. And now I wear a dog collar with tags and literally no one cares.

You can do this with pretty much any gear. Start small and build it up. Make yourself the resident weirdo, and people will stop questioning it.

Disability aids are freeing, not imprisonment!

Canes, crutches, walkers, rollators, wheelchairs, prosthetics, medical implants, sensory aids, communication aids, breathing aids, feeding tubes, stomas, etc, are wonderful, valuable, lifesaving, quality-of-life tools!

Even if an aid-user used to not need one (ie; a person who used to be able to walk without an aid but now needs a rollator after a car accident), that doesn't make their aid a "prison"!

Phrases like "oh, I wish you didn't have to use that wheelchair" aren't progressive or kind to a person who used to not own an aid! Whatever made them disabled would still exist, taking the aid out of the equation means they'd be unhappy or in a health risk!

What you should be saying is "I am sorry that traumatic event happened to you" or "I am sorry that you're struggling with your health", not "oh I'm so sorry that you need an aid now."

Stop demonizing the aid! The aid is a positive! You're just going to make them feel ashamed to use it!

I talked to them!

A few days ago I was really sick, so some of my best friends came by to visit me and bring me some food and comic books to distract me.

I had already told one of them I was nonhuman in some way, and we talked, I told them about my experiences and instincts and how only my left wing snags on things and how my tail wags.

And they were okay with it!

I showed them to my nest and they agreed it was very cozy, we watched shows on the tv and cuddled and one of them always scratched the right spot juts behind my ears!

I'm gonna make them something cool to tell them how much I love them and how I see them as my pack!!

But yeah, really happy!!

American alterhumans, how do we feel about July 4 fireworks? Personally I am not now that I live in a state where anyone can buy fireworks, and therefore my neighborhood has a bunch of idiots lighting shit in the streets. My hearing and nerves will be pretty cranked up this weekend and I won’t be able to fly away, swim to deeper waters, or scurry deep into the forest.

Along with the noise I’m pretty concerned on the fact we are in an extreme heat warning, and there’s breezes which means fire weather.

I haaate fireworks. It kills birds and dogs all over America every year. It triggers people with autism and ptsd. And as a wolf I am very sound sensitive and it feels like someone’s slapping my ears really hard whenever I’m around them.

I cannot handle fireworks. Although if they didn’t hurt animals and were quiet but just as pretty I’d love them. They are pretty just so loud I hate them and can’t stand them. The evenings leading up to Fourth of July are so stressful and frustrating. It physically hurts to hear them. Drone shows are cooler tbh and I think they hurt less animals as far as I’m aware.
