   Jfc I took so long to post this! I’ve had this finished for days but I haven’t given myself the time to just post it. I can only draw traditional so there aren’t any layers or the nice stuff that comes with using tech, just some minor lighting and color changes thanks to my phone’s capabilities. I’m not too happy with Caboose, but drawing a duster on a big buff guy isn’t one of my strong points. ^^;; Had a lot of fun with freckles though! I love his mechanical toe beans- kinda like those of the Sangheili! 

    Lopez and the space rat are coming soon, though I’ll finish that after I get to another request to balance things out. 

   Nah, it ain’t crazy at all. He’s actually super smart for some things, he was going to go to college in France for one thing! . . . .though it contrasts sharply when you know how he got mixed up in RvB instead.

    Although personally while I do think Caboose is far more intelligent than most people (particularly in the show) realize, I don’t think he’s THE SMARTEST. . . Clever (don’t laugh!) and unorthodox, his perception of things is radically different than the way other people see. He’s. . . a little like me that way, you point and say “look!” we probably won’t look at what you’re talking about, but something else more or less noticeable or completely and utterly IRRELEVANT. Using his boundless CREATIVITY to come up with surprisingly rational ideas (ie when he advises Wash and Church to take the tank so they can infiltrate a certain place) to his advantage. Well, more often than not, his teammate’s advantages. Though the fact he can read into things or literally respond with a summary of what ACTUALLY HAPPENS when he has no way of knowing that for sure. . . maybe he is the smartest, in his own way. ;D

  Bonus thought: Then there’s the times where he seems completely unfazed by the dangerous situations he’s put into, I think this is largely because he KNOWS his friends (everyone who isn’t trying to kill him though not entirely excluding them) won’t let him down. They’ll keep him safe or die trying. This extends both ways, honestly.
