Farming Nightfalls

Going off that, I really want to illustrate this specific scene and tie in some personal aspects to it but I'm at a standstill with the idea because I can't remember if I have ever attempted a digital illustration as ambitious as this and I am not sure I have the skills right now to properly work on it. It would be a very detailed landscape involving exaggerated perspective and ideally would have harmonic coloring.

Was super cool to see the narrative team lean more into darker content like i mentioned in my last post. I didn't find all the collectables on my run through of my first blind clear at the end, but I still got the general idea of the story being told of the warlock who was being tortured in the forge (Even before I got to the end!) I would be curious on how much of the soulfire actually came from her. I hope when I get the final few collectables it'll talk more about how she got there.

The sparrow from mission completion was also a solid read. I didn't expect to see them wrap up the Bael story here, it makes me wonder if that would have been a cutscene should the game have continued development. Was very cool nonetheless!

Dragon creature guy w/ some various motifs based off a moodboard.

I was beyond excited to see Shin Malphur mentioned again in the lore and have him connected to the modern Dredgens and recent plot points. This specific lore entry had a lot of grit and really just summarizes everything I enjoy about Shin + the attitudes and actions of other well known Hunters. Glad to see he is still around doing the same job he has been doing this entire time.

Renegades did a good job at showing a bit more violence in the game as well, one example being Bael getting his hand cut off and having that SHOWN in a cutscene. You see similar stuff in this lore entry w/ the detailed gore and hard description of another guardian bleeding out.

I think it serves as a transition point for Grace's complex relationship to his ties on Earth, but also has this "meta" role in being the point in the film where the final act begins and is given a decision in which he does not return to Earth (which is exactly what happens).
