i really, REALLY! fucking LOVED this show. it had no right to be this good, but it was!!!

SO Avery went into that 12 hour trance after reading the book in the church, presumably an extract from act 2 or further of The King In Yellow play. (This kinda mirrors The Mask and The Yellow Sign in the original book but that's an analysis for another day.) BUT in my au, during this time, he glimpsed infinite knowledge for just a second. Now, he gets small, fast pangs of knowledge sometimes.

Using this, he manages to locate Derek, get into his apartment, and try his best to save him.

I'm not gonna give it ALL away yet because I plan on doing more for this AU so stick around if you like it :D
