Thinking of Fina's return and her new look: late 1950s Argentina v Spain for women. Did she access higher education? Find a sympathic female photographer in Buenos Aires and taken under her wing? There were popular fotonovelas for women at this time in Argentina - the precurse of the telenovelas (very meta), so did she work on them? Culture more influenced by Western ideas/Hollywood. Did she feel liberated? Not just dreaming of freedom, but accessing it, albeit a modest form even for Argentinian women at the time.

I am hoping she returns to Toledo with an even greater sense of self, maybe enshewing her class, to that of a professional woman.
