I kinda see this as a roo sneaks into the memory world au. And kinda 296 (wish) gone wrong, since he really wanted to go to memory world (in the manga).

i was gone for a while, but god help me lads i used that time to my advantage! here's a delightful prompt request from a darling friend of mine, i love you to pieces, and i hope you enjoy them as much as i enjoyed making them! these prompts are for HUGS, idk how i made it angsty, but i did. ily all!! unclench your jaw!! stretch your arms!!

[ PROTECT ] - sender wraps receiver in a hug in order to protect them from a potential or present danger.

[ REUNITE ] - having been apart for some time, sender, upon seeing receiver for the first time, sprints to give them a hug. (be emo w this okay PLS--)

Yugi’s head leaned sideways on Bakura’s shoulder heavily. He let out a long sigh. “There’s no point in me lying, is there? I always had Atem to talk to, but now? There’s no one most nights. Honestly, the silence drives me up the wall.” A pause. “I also thought you’d be the only one awake at this hour. I would feel kinda bad waking up one of our friends just because I was having a bad day. I hope you don’t mind that that’s my reason.”

Ryou knew that this with him and Spirit isn't the same as with Yugi and Atem. Not even close. Even if he talked here and there. And for Ryou it was just knowing someone is there, even if the spirit didn't always show himself. He could sometimes just feel it. Or he thinks so anyway.

But it isn't hard to imagine it's worse for Yugi. Even if Ryou had his ring longer.

" Don't worry about. I'm glad you came to me!" Ryou smiled. Granted, sure, it was a bit sad he was like, the last and only option but he isn't going to dwell on that.

"Maybe we can meet all up in Duel Links, or invite them here, like old times. " it is not gogin to fix Yugis prolbme right away sure, but talking with everybody seems like something his friends needs.
