I love vox machina but dammn, Vex really became a background character. She was the one making plans in seasons 1 and was kind of the 'leader' or at least the one that puts the group in check, and now her brother dies and we don't even see her reacting to it. No arc, no plot for her, we don't even see her talk to her brother or try to find a way to make him survive, which is so contradictory to what we know about her. I'm supposed to believe that Vex who loves her brother and was the only person she really had for years and years, gives up his life for her, and is depressed because he's going to die soon and she's just like "oh no :("

We saw keyleth losing sleep and crashing out multiple times but Vex? She even went on to kill Anna Rippley as revenge for Percy, but for Vax? We see her do nothing. So out of character for her considering what we know about the twins.

Perc'ahlia and Supermartian are the endgame couple. They've built a strong ever lasting relationship, overcame death itself to be together and ultimately got married with a bright future ahead for them!

Vaxleth and Spitfire are the tragic couple. They are both so deeply in love, but are tragically torn forever apart when Vax and Wally die, leaving their partners: Keyleth and Artemis completely crushed!

(This is an excuse for me to rant about my favourite couples😛)

I also think that Percy & Vex are similar to Wally & Artemis.

Percy and Wally rely heavily on their knowledge and science to help their respective teams. Wally by recreating his uncle’s accident and Percy by using science to make his weapons, both of them use science to defeat their enemies. (very surface level analysis of their similarities bcs im being lazy)

Vex and Artemis are obviously both archers and gorgeous but they also both care deeply about their siblings and have complicated relationships with their fathers. Vex has always had her twin on her side and they relied on each other to survive after their father basically abandoned them. Artemis however was abandoned by her sister and even though she has tried multiple times to get Jade to leave “the life” behind she still refuses. Artemis stayed with her father in hopes that her family would be able reunite (i don’t really understand her relationship with her father, but from what i understand is that they don’t speak) and endured his rough training.

Basically both are similar as individuals but not as couples.
