Nikaido goes with him to Kasukabe's house in new years even though she doesn't have to do anything there, he's just doing an errand for work, they just like spending time together!! Everything that is going on with the crosseyes. Ebisu messing with Fujita all the time.

i ship it as seriously as kimi raikkonen takes f1. you can interpret for yourself what that means.

why this rating?

in all my favorite rivalries, being rivals goes hand in hand with being playmates. go watch makkinen in the 2000 suzuka quali. a championship deciding race, and yet both drivers grin when they get beat because they’re thinking, oh yes, i get another chance to play! same goes for the spa 2000 press conference (“it’s correct? 🧐” “yeah 😊”) or when schumi equalled senna’s 41 wins (they laugh together, they cry together). in looking out for your rival, in making them your playmate, you bring out the best in both of you.

this is tangential but i had to say it: oscar piastri does not resemble mika to me. nor does he resemble raikkonen. he may dabble in the way of the finn, but dabbling is the extent of it.
