I'm not usually one for landscapes or shooting in the snow as I can never get the WB right however switching over to monochrome and dialling up the polariser just produced a punchy image. All shot in camera I just cropped in post and put a grad filter on LR with a bit more clarity and contrast then dropped the exposure by a stop.

I've been so tied up in my day job developing film and photography in general just hasn't been in my scope of priorities. I shot a roll of Ilford Pan F through my RB67 with the intention of getting some contrasty, moody, sharp and dramatic looking portraits. I have myself a makeshift home studio compromised of a 3 light Bowens kit several modifiers and both a black and white backdrop. This was effectively a test roll and I'm certainly happy with end result my only improvement going forward to potentially be to add a rim light or maybe even just a reflector model right just to provide a little fill.

We saw the western coast, I saw the hospital by Craig Fullbrook Via Flickr: Fuji GW690ii Fujinon 90mm f/3.5 MC Ilford HP5+ rated @ 1600 Developer: Kodak Xtol - pushed development time 14mins 50 sec's So I was really happy with the end results of this film! I was expecting the results to be incredibly over exposed and grainy. It was a surprisingly sunny and clear day in Wales and my lightmeter was telling me to shoot at 1/640 f/32 @ 1600 which just exceeded the top shutter speed of 1/500 which the fuji offers. Managed to scrape by with this fantastically sharp contrasty image. I would have loved more details in the highlights but its almost impossible to correctly place in a ND grad when you're not looking directly through the lens!

I had intended on shooting entirely on film (still to be processed) but took my 6D as a back up just incase I saw any images I needed a longer reach for. This was my first legit attempt at using a ND grad whilst shooting colour and it was only a cheap plastic drop in filter which I can tell has significantly reduce the sharpness and colour accuracy but it was a good learning curve

Will we be known forever? by Craig Fullbrook Via Flickr: Mamiya RB67 Pro SD Mamiya Sekor 127mm f/3.7 Kodak Ektar 100ASA Developer: Fujihunt C41 X-Press 5Ltr Kit - Dev 4:00 @ 38.5*C Strobe set up: Camera right: Bowens Gemini 500 Watt - 1/16 power with 18" Beauty dish with grid and sock - trigger via X-Sync Chord. Camera Left: 5-1 Reflector, silver side acting as bounce and fill. Under/Behind product: Yongnuo YN560II with orange gel (aka jaffa cakes wrapper) as background bounce and gradient. So here is my first attempt a film based product photography using just a simple lighting set up. Overall I was pretty happy with the results I was expecting a little more contrast and saturation from Ektar but I purposely over exposed 1/3 of a stop and pushed the process slightly to help eliminate the cold blue cat and hue that Kodak renders. Shall definitely be using my Mamiya for more product photography (if I ever find myself needing to) and portraits.
