This week we worked on portraits!
We learned to use a 55mm lens and a 250 mm lens along with our widest and shortest apertures to see the difference between both images and then our portraits!
We used a tripod for each image along with a timer so not to be touching the camera in order to snap a photo. Keeping the timer on helped to keep the images undisturbed by vibrations of us pressing the shutter button.
Aside from the last photograph, both images were taken with a 250mm lens, the last was just an image a classmate took and I really liked it!
We used two different lenses to learn about depth of field, but also to see the differences in using a lens from both up close AND at a distance. I learned that with the 250mm lens the image did turn out sharper and had less grain involved.
