Back to the main topic, The d-t duo there, oh- why did I have the impulsive thought of the 'static/legs falling asleep' feeling being associated with a temporary loss of connection/recalibration of a squip to that area. The reconnection disguised by that particular feeling... very discreet (maybe an early concept). Excuse my rambling I'm just going insane. -Ray Idiot 2

i do like to think that most of the standard squip features were derived from a specialty unit :] ray does like to test these things almost exclusively On and By himself! (he cant be sure that anyone elses report would be wholly accurate, after all)

Dude,, they sound so fucking cool :o I adore all the (possibly og) specialty squips that fine tune the functions found in the more 'commercial' squips. Those two in particular having direct canon references is also a really neat touch! On an unrelated note to a thought that occurred just now, I really like how Ray has /separate/ deactivated squips along with active ones. No one else would know how to deactivate them separately if that was the case (which maybe isn't but it brings intrigue)

oh naturally!! putting my foot down and properly developing dosei and tennousei :] caus it has been TOO LONG tbh

dosei is the stage manager, so to speak? her specialty is the muscle structure of the human body--with each of these units comes a different refined functionality, and with dosei came a comprehension of motor skills & that Autopilot mechanic, the ability for a squip to easily and intuitively maneuver the body of its host

with tennousei, even though ive had this concept up in the air for a while now, i think their specialty is the processing of sensory information--see Optic Nerve Blocking and whatnot--presumably theyd be doseis counterpart, working in tandem to decrease the feeling of Weirdness whenever a squip interacts directly with the host body....

Ophio is a post-canon squip. After being deactivated by Jeremy and Michael, it was able to escape Jeremy's mind through the internet. And, with a monumental amount of luck-- it was able to find a security error in a unit in a neighboring school. A clean slate, a clear mind and no Red? Well, there was much work to do.

Ophio, or Unit 2282, has total and complete control over Ophiuchus Secondary, one of Middleboroughs rival schools. This, mainly, pertains to the 500 people in his hivemind, with both students and faculty alike assimilated into its network. Though it has the immense power to control them all at once, it finds the idea of doing so quite tedious, so it takes a backseat in day to day life for them. With full control over everything, it began to change and modify the school to its liking. Besides-- it now considered the building ITSELF to be his body.

The one problem was... it became a perfect school. Well-structured classes, after school programs, accessibility, diverse interests-- Hell, the social hiearchy of a typical highschool was surgically removed. Having learned from its prior failures, it had decided to concoct a microcosm of society, an ant farm-- a test. And, for any knowing visitor? The school was, in fact, quite nice.

Though, as all things are-- there was more under the skin. Hidden away in the Drama Room's basement, were 20 crates of squip units, in storage. That amount could easily stagger almost the entire population of the city-- if not more. Which begs the question...
