In Gaza, as of the moment I am posting this, it is currently 88 degrees Fahrenheit (31.11111 degrees Celsius). That is the starting temperature, before one takes in the unclean air and before one takes in the fact that people are inside plastic tents. Plastic tents which grab heat and make every temperature feel that much worse.
My friend Siraj @siraj0 told me this morning on WhatsApp that he and his family are not well, they are suffering in the heat with insects.
Additionally, I saw something on Instagram about how right now in Gaza, a battery powered fan costs $500 and the actual battery to put in it is $1,000. That's absolutely ridiculous.
Siraj hasn't been on Tumblr to speak for himself lately (probably because of the heat and the bugs and everything else about surviving a genocide taking energy away from him) and because he hasn't been online, donations to his family have dropped. A few days ago, there was a $100 donation - and that's good, but infrequent big donations are not as helpful as frequent small donations.
I ask, if anyone can help my friend and his family survive the heat (and potentially buy a battery powered fan), please consider donating.

Changing topic, i decided I could make drawings of Sonia and Manic in different forms that Sonicās been in. And I went with werehog, metal, and riders. The metal versions im the LEAST confident in, I was stuck between making a genuine, āmade by eggmanā looking robot, and something super gimmicky and stupid, and it ended up looking like I took myself too seriously and genuinely thought they looked cool. To clarify, I think they look stupid as hell, and I have no idea how on earth they could be useful in eggmanās arsenal
The werehogs, i coulda tried harder to change up Soniaās outfit, and I really wanted it to look ripped up and stuff, but I was afraid of it looking freaky š
The riders one, well I kinda stole Tangleās outfit for Manic lol, but Soniaās is based off of her biking outfit from the show, itās āgucciniā or some stupid designer parody lol

My brother gave me some suggestions, like darkspine versions of the two, but I wasnāt rlly sure how to do that. and they technically already have super forms? Theres also dark sonic, but that wouldnāt really be interesting lol. You can leave a suggestion if youāre okay with having a 70% chance of me not drawing it bc, like I said, lots of drawings that I already promised myself š

actually I think you should be normal about ordinary citizens of authoritarian countries and yes that applies even to that country you're thinking of right now
if you use shinigami eyes i am going to assume you are racist before i assume anything else, full stop. and others should too. theres a lot to be said about the problem with intersex people speaking about their experiences, and trans men as well. but the amount of black users or otherwise racialized people speaking about their experiences with being both a person of color and trans and the intersection between these two things having them be marked red because of it. if you use shinigami eyes you are racist and are contributing towards the othering of our siblings of color in our community. you need to start caring about this too instead of only the sentiments against intersex and transmasc people
