Like okay. we need women in the show. how about one of them gets kidnapped in the pilot episode. how about, for the next few seasons, 90% of her plot lines revolve around her relationships with men. She should have an emotional affair with her boyfriend’s best friend after the Physical Equivalent of a shitty randomised relationship calculator tells her he’s a better match. How about multiple male characters are openly misogynistic towards her and her “soulmate” blatantly disrespects her boundaries multiple times and gets REWARDED for it in the end. I know, let’s make her Big Feminist Move at the end of the season where she constantly talks about how she is tired of being defined by gender stereotypes sacrificing herself to get KIDNAPPED because she knows a man will save her.

And the Other Female Character? Ok so we’re introducing her immediately as a Love Interest who pretty much just. provides information to the men around her. She will Almost Die and Need Saving. When one of the male protagonists makes a Heroic Sacrifice she will end up without a physical body and live inside his head like a personal assistant who gives him information when he needs it.
