Dying

"I can understand the concept, but I have to say that as someone who is living with cancer, you can control a lot more than you think. And I know that dying slowly is the worst way to go. I'm not going to tell you to stop..you've got nurses and doctors for that. I will tell you that if you need to talk without being judged..I can give you that."

"Well, I was hoping for a real answer..but if you don't want to share that..I'll take the fake on."

"Why do you do it? Why starve yourself?"

"I miss eating junk food..salty potato chips and popcorn." Zoe sighed heavily, picking at the bowl of fruit. "I can’t wait till this is over and I can eat real food" She was talking to herself again. Her parents, as usual, were too busy to spend time with her.
