"Socialism is bad because if socialists are not held accountable, they could act like capitalists."
That's literally every argument against socialism.

Two very obvious things wrong with this:
Pork is being forced just as much as LGBT is. Pork is shown in TV shows, even in shows that aren't specifically about pork. Pork is served at most restaurants. People eat pork in public without caring who can see it. Children eat pork. Someone who doesn't like pork has to accept that if they go out in public, they will see people eating pork. No one's forcing anyone to eat pork and no one's forcing anyone to marry someone of the same gender.
You're always presenting the theory that Muslims are more anti-LGBT than Christians. If that's the case, why isn't LGBT people's mere existence considered more forced on Muslims than on Christians?
"I didn't know that it was because of a disability. I thought you were just misbehaving. That's why I punished you so many times. Can you forgive me?"
No. I can't.
The part where you declared yourself superior to me was intentional.
The part where you declared that any criticism of you is disrespect was intentional.
The part where you declared that you're allowed to express your emotions freely but I'm punished if I express mine was intentional.
The part where you hit me and declared that you earned the right to do that was intentional.
The part where you declared that I'm your property, decided who I'm supposed to be, then punished me for deviating from that was intentional.
Only the part where my disability has a label was accidental.
Also, anytime I "didn't mean to" disrespect you, you became violent. Why the fuck should I accept "didn't mean to" from you after a lifetime of you never accepting it from me even though it makes much more logical sense from me?
Also, even after you found out that I have a disability, you still continued to have ableist patterns, like expecting my brain to function on your command, or adding assumed hidden meanings to what I say and responding aggressively. If you were truly sorry, you'd be afraid to continue the pattern.
If you want my forgiveness, you have to spend the rest of your life openly betraying those who support your authoritarian actions. You have to speak out against the propaganda that made you think that how you treated me was okay. You don't get to just "feel bad".
"I didn't know that you needed reasons for everything because of a disability. I thought you were just being defiant. I'm sorry."
That's not an apology. That's an attempt to make yourself feel better about it while changing nothing.
You wanted to be an abusive dictator. You knew that logical reasoning didn't support you being a dictator, so you declared that logical reasoning is disrespectful and you punished me for it. That part was intentional. And people without disabilities deserve reasons also. No one should have to obey without question.
I've always been good at math. I was always hated whenever I underestimated how difficult math is for many people because it's easy for me. Anytime someone struggled with math, I was expected to show them the utmost consideration, compassion, and patience. And that's even without me knowing about any kind of disability they have. And that was expected of me as a little kid.
But when I struggled with something, it was assumed that punishment was what I needed. People just told me to do whatever sounded good to them, demanded obedience, and punished me when I couldn't do it.
So no, I will not accept "I didn't know you had a disability" as an excuse. I was never allowed to use that excuse, so I refuse to accept it when it's used toward me.
Because ao3’s tagging system explicitly allows romantic pairings in Gen fics as long as the relationship is not the focus of the fic.
(But real talk: this comes up a lot on Tumblr and on r/ao3 and while most people know the Gen fic rules, there’s always a portion of people who don’t and get extremely frustrated when they can’t find a fic devoid of romantic relationships. Which is valid! But definitely not a reason to blame authors or their fics.
What concerns me is the growing amount of people who acknowledge ao3’s correct tagging rules and then say “well I don’t like/believe in it” and proceed to ignore the rules and continue to be upset because they don’t want it to be a rule and they think they can apply their own “beliefs” to the system and others should too.
That’s not how rules work.
If you want to change ao3, join the OTW. Run for one of their elected seats. Petition for a rule change, etc. Help wrangle the “no relationships” tags and encourage use of one others might want too.
But stop treating every relationship like it’s icky and that others are morally inferior because they’re okay with the Gen rules. You don’t make the rules, and that’s a good thing!
Also, an ao3 without relationships in gen fics? There would be so many batfamily fics disappearing because of a 200 word section buried in one chapter of 34 where Bruce and Clark interact and are presumably together!)
wait, you're telling me some "boys" didn't grow up feeling like a lesbian trapped in the wrong body? i thought that was normal!
get peer reviewed, because fucking. yeah.
hey. hey bestie. i have some pronouns over here you might like, come with me. you can leave that "he/they" over there, you don't need it anymore.

Googled something about quick hydration and it suggested big jug of water, couple tbsp pickle juice, dash of lime juice.
Its surprisingly tasty????
Pleased to report that after a day of this i am not longer craving caper brine and my mouth is not dry as usual. There's some good suggestions in the notes too that I want to try.
-ancient roman posca: water, red or white wine vinegar, honey, salt, herbs (coriander, mint, thyme)
-switchel: water, ginger, vinegar, sweetener, lemon, salt
-ayran: yogurt, water, salt, mint
-Agua pepino: water, cucumbers, lime, sugar, optional mint.
I have been reminded of:
-shrub: vinegar, sida water, elderberry (or other berry), sugar.
I have now been informed of
-sekanjabin: honey, vinegar, mint, water.
"Wow, I wonder why this post was popular this week."
-sees the reports of the heatwave in Europe-
"... ah."
the mexican football team has a 17 yrs old player and one of the funniest outcomes of this is that he cannot appear in any ad for gambling or drinking so he only appears in candy and milk advertisements. his first world cup and he's not even legally allowed to drive. his nickname is "morita" (little berry). he's three apples tall.
they couldn't put him in the beer campaign so he was represented by a bunch of berries
I can relate to this on every level
“postmortem decay set in SERIOUSLY quickly”

adulthood notes:
The Rodeo Rule: you only have to do it for the first time once.
The Rohan Rule: if you are at a social function full of new people and you want to be liked, find someone doing important work like setup or food prep and offer to help.
The Tutorial Mode Rule: to navigate an unfamiliar situation where you fear you will mess up an interaction, preface the interaction by mentioning that you've never done this before, and let them know if you have a specific concern or question.
The Rocket Science Rule: most new things you want to try seem very complicated but are simple when taken step by step.
The [X] Will Remember That Rule: if you need to make small talk with the same person on a regular basis, try to save one fact or current event in their life from a given conversation and bring it up next time you talk.
The Cool Binder Rule: by wearing clothes and accessories that are to your taste instead of trying to blend in, people will be more likely to compliment you and show interest in you as a person.
The Rodeo Rule:
you only have to do it
