Hey, I just thought abt smth someone said abt MAGA and, like, it was a post on here where someone who supported MAGA and trump asked someone if they could follow them if they were MAGA and the dude they were asking said "eww, FUCK no, get away" or smth like that and honestly, I kinda just wanna say smth abt that.
Now, I am the FURTHEST thing from a trump supporters. I fucking HATE him and I hope he DIES by accidentally bombing himself before he even gets the SLIM CHANCE of running a 3rd course. My parents are trump supporters which is what makes it worse.
But while I think this, I also think it's wrong to hate on others bc of how they think, which is honestly the main reason why i hate trump and MAGA and just politics in general.
U don't need to hate or instantly reject someone for thinking the way that they do, and I honestly think we should hear each other out more when we do think opposing thoughts.
Do I support trump?? FUCK TO THE N-O, NO!!! but why?? Bc at the very least, he's a pervert, gaslighter, greedy, and manipulater (and not really a very good one to be completely honest). He's also proven himself to be publicly racist, homophobic, transphobic, and sexist, and he's been documented to be in kahoots with the infamous sexoffender, Jeffery Epstein. He's also made very inappropriate jokes abt his own daughter and not only did he do that, but he said it in front of his wife, who is also the mother of his daughter. He also has no past experiences with politics until now, and to me, if feels as tho he's only in office bc of his famous history and his own family lineage, and I personally don't wanna trust someone like that to govern our country, let alone to break the law he's supposed to enforce just to run a 3rd course.
Now, I will say, I don't understand the standing point of someone who supports MAGA, but that honestly makes me wanna know more abt why they think the way they think.
Now, I will say, i think it could have an element in the way they were rased. I can use my parents as an example. Both were rased in a strict Christian household and were rased on a traditional stand point on life, and the way ur rased and ur experiences throughout ur childhood does have a component in the way u think in ur adulthood. It's very hard to come out of something uve been told and to come out of a belief system uve been told to belive ur whole life. This is also why I understand where my parents come from when they speak of politics like this and when they express their transphobia and homophobia.
And as much as I hate to admit it, im rased in a household that supports trump, sooooo...for a while, i did think the same way, bc that was my environment. (I'm better guys, I'm educated and I'm BETTER NOW)
But I do wanna say, to anyone who does support trump and MAGA, I ask u to do a lot more research instead of everything u hear on the news and everything u see on the surface. The news is designed to be bias and its very beneficial to u and to the world around u if u learn both sides and do ur own research. (For example, Newsmax is bias towards MAGA. Does it give factual information? Yes. But is it from a neutral perspective? No) and to anyone who doesn't support MAGA/trump (basically everyone) don't be rude or aggressive to ppl that do support trump and MAGA, and the same goes for trump and MAGA supporters. Dont be rude or agressive towards others just bc they think differently than u. That's the reason why liberals are very defensive, bc trump supporters have been publicly abused them and have been publicly agressive towards them just bc they think differently.
I say it's best to actually strike up a debate, bc that not only allows u to learn more abt the other side, but it allows u to understand ur side just a bit better. (And I say that in a semi-bias way, but still)
And don't be prideful. If ur wrong abt something, just admit that u were wrong and apoligize. It's that easy. And if ur right, don't gloat abt it. That's not only disgusting but also very narcissistic, and those are the specific traits u wanna avoid just as personality characters.
