ships aren't always meant to be cute. it's fine to hate certain ships but not understanding why people like it does not mean it's immoral for them to do so.

I'm not in this fandom but I wanna add my two cents to this because I keep seeing people with this opinion and I'm getting tired of people thinking that any ship that's unhealthy is somehow a darkship and immoral to like.
It feels like some people are under the impression that when someone says "I ship these characters," they mean "I think they're cute together and should date." While a lot of the time that can be true, that's not always what it means and shouldn't be taken as the default definition of shipping
In reality, when someone says "I ship these characters," what that really means is "I think that their relationship is romantic in some way, and I find their dynamic to be interesting and I want to explore it." Notice how there is NO MENTION of the relationship being healthy or good for the characters. Shipping something does not necessarily mean you think they SHOULD be in a romantic relationship (although it can mean that), just that you interpret them as being in one and want to explore that.
For example, I ship ultibrave. Do I interpret their relationship as romantic? Yes. Do I find them interesting and want to develop their relationship in my writing and fanart? Yes. Do I think it's a healthy relationship? Absolutely not. Do I endorse their relationship and think it's cute or something someone should want? NO!!!!!! I just want to watch whatever the hell is wrong with them
As long as the shipper isn't condoning the characters’ harmful actions and doesn't portray their relationship as being healthy, they're not doing anything wrong. They literally just the find their dynamic interesting and in some way romantic.
And NO this obviously doesn’t apply to people shipping actual heinous shit like pedophilia and incest and stuff like that. There’s a difference between an unhealthy relationship and an illegal and/or immoral one
And honestly I’m only writing this as an opportunity to share my own opinions on this, I really couldn’t be bothered about what OP thinks especially considering they somehow find gracerocky of all things abusive 😭
