hi!!!!!! i'm Clover and i selfship with a Pokemon creepypasta!!!!!! while my interests mainly reside in the creepypasta part, I do know a good chunk about the Kanto and Alola games (as those were the games I grew up playing)!!!!

SO!!!! IF YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO ASSIGN YOUR F/O A POKEMON (+my reasoning) COME REBLOG THIS POST WITH YOUR F/O AND SOME INFO ABOUT THEM!!!!!!!!!

my assigning WILL include glitch Pokemon and creepypasta Pokemon (I.E. MissingNO and Ghost), as well as Shiny variants, so keep that in mind!!!!!

for my own f/o Steven Gonzales from the Pokemon creepypasta Strangled Red, we've got shiny Charizard!!!! mainly chose this one because. well. it's his partner Pokemon in the creepypasta and the Shiny fits his color pallet really well :)

my main f/o is my beloved happy mask salesman from the legend of zelda ^^ i draw him two different ways depending on if im doing selfship or oc x canon stuff with him (canon design for selfship, my design for oc x canon)

his lore also changes somewhat between the two (theyre like... au versions of each other) but personality wise theyre the same

the only key difference between the two is that canon design hms is immortal and my design hms is not

A mask salesman located in hyrule castle town, running a shop dedicated to sharing his joy and passion towards masks with others. People usually find him weird, offputting, suspicious, or creepy when they first meet him, but he has no ill intent towards anyone, hes just not the best at reading social cues. He's incredibly humble, and has very low self esteem, but knows when to play up his confidence if it means pleasing a customer or getting his hands on a rare mask for his collection. He shares very little about himself with others, usually avoiding answering any questions that could be seen as even remotely personal, though he wont hesitate to share information about the masks he sells, as well as the story of how he got them (for most of his masks.) He is a very curious person and likes to learn new things as often as he can, and loves to listen to people talk about the things they're passionate about. He usually heavily masks when around others (autistic), but anything that causes him to experience more extreme emotional highs or lows can cause him to stop masking, and the sudden switch and/or fluctuation of emotions can be really jarring to people who don't know him well. Hes... kind of emotionally all over the place when hes not masking and he'll react pretty strongly to things...

He struggles immensely with self worth issues, viewing himself as someone who only exists to pay for the sins of his ancestors. He feels that he's not allowed to want good things to happen to him, and intentionally starves himself of meaningful relationships of any kind.

When he does indulge himself in things he wants or enjoys, he feels immense guilt. (unless its something like... reading....) (He is intentionally kind of hypocritical with his beliefs, considering that his entire livelihood revolves around masks, which is like his favorite thing ever. Its meant to show that maybe hes uh... wrong for believing he deserves nothing but suffering).

If he does something that he perceives to be a "mistake" or "fuck up" towards someone else, he internalizes it around the person to avoid making things worse, but completely breaks down as soon as hes alone. "He already exists just to pay for his ancestors sins, what right does he have to commit more?" is his thought process. He does not react like this if his "fuck up" is something that only impacts him.

His speech is very fancy! when hes masking he doesnt use abbreviations (like you're, don't, etc...) and his speech is verrrrry wordy... he kinda sounds like a talking book! If he's not masking, he starts using abbreviations again :P

first of all i had a Pavlovian reaction to seeing anything Majora's Mask related because I fucking love ben drowned and that game scares the shit out of me. props to you bro

I mostly chose Type: Null because of his and his evolution's main gimmick; changing type at will. In the anime, with Type: Null, this is done through TMs that Gladeon uses during battle to switch his typing, which I think goes really well with the Salesman's need to please in any situation!

In addition, Type: Null's existence in the Sun and Moon anime is partially the reason why Lusamine has a not-good relationship with Gladeon, since he stole Type: Null from Lusamine Corp to save him from experiments being run on the thing. I feel like this gives Type: Null a strange sense of guilt and a need to please its new Trainer, which also ties well into the Salesman's personality :)

f/o who runs warm × s/i who runs cold

Imagine your F/O cleaning up your bedroom for you while you're out of the house. Like, you left in such a hurry so your clothes were scattered all over the place, and you were dreading returning home to a bed you wouldn't even be able to lay on. But now you get home to find everything perfectly tidy and your F/O is waiting for you in your bed. Maybe they even bought you a new set of pajamas to get changed into. Just being taken care of like that and not having to worry about menial tasks is so yummy.

you've been stressed. tired. and pushed far past the limits of what someone deserves to go through. that's why, the second they showed up with open arms, you collapsed into their warmth and sobbed your eyes out.

so gentle were their words as they were whispering how it was going to be okay, their hand patting your back, and their body leaning against yours.

when you pull away and look them in the eye, they smile ever so slightly and cup your cheek to wipe away the stray tears that fell from your face. "it'll be okay," they start, pressing a kiss against the corner of your eye, "i'm still here."
