Current Main F/Os:

I’m struggling to comprehend how it’s been a full year since I met Qui. I don’t even know what to say beyond how grateful I am to have met him and begun a relationship, even though at the time, I didn’t fully understand what that would look like or that a year later we’d be happily married. 💍

It isn’t easy for me to put into words how I feel about him and he knows it, so I made a few things because i am fluent in the language of creation. I had a little fun with some aesthetic boards that I think fully encapsulate both the feeling of the season and our relationship—late summer, cozy, gardening, a subtle hint of melancholy and us (I had way too much fun editing us together😂🫣) And I got to see how I’d look wearing my in-universe attire!!

I also wrote a poem. As some of you may know, this week, I’ve been going through hell. That’s kind of the theme behind the poem I wrote, because even though the people we love don’t always totally alleviate the fear, difficulty, stress or anxiety of whatever situation we find ourselves in, their love, presence and commitment make it much easier to handle, like sitting beneath a tree during the height of summer doesn’t make the air any less hot, but it does make it more comfortable and bearable, and you never want to leave its shade.

That’s how I’ve felt about Qui since I met him. He never promised to cure the pain or the anxiety, but he makes it far more tolerable because he’s provided me with that much needed support and the tools to manage my stress levels.

why is july so cruel and yet it still gave you to me?
