during days you feel particularly empty or emotionally numb, your f/o(s) wouldn't try to get a reaction out of you— they would accompany you if you need it, but you don't need to try and pretend for them

your f/os don't need to experience something in order to understand it and empathize with you, who may struggle with or stress over it.

you get easily overwhelmed by sounds but they don't? they still make their best efforts to assure you are comfortable. maybe they even buy you noise-cancelling headphones if you want them?

you struggle completing tasks? they may offer to help you, or suggest buying snacks to give you for every milestone you accomplish. in that way you look forward to something after completing your tasks ^_^

you struggle getting out of bed? they could keep you company and lay with you. or maybe they could bridal-carry you to whatever place in the house you need to be.

whatever it is; your f/os can understand your situation without having experienced it themselves. they love you and want to support you in all ways they can!

f/o who lets you fall asleep as they talk. maybe they are mindlessly massaging your scalp or hugging you by their side, as they talk about something that intrigues you, but your drowsiness is stronger. it may take them a few minutes to realize you've comfortably fallen asleep near them, simply because their voice is so calming to you

f/o who doesn't mind being the one who does the talking if you don't feel like speaking

romantic!f/o might like to mess with many people but, somehow, you are the one and only exception!

this makes many of your friends worry at first: what if romantic!f/o is secretly planning something behind your back?

it takes them a few more glances to realize that romantic!f/o is actually pretty down bad for you— pathetically so, because they'll annoy everyone else but the moment you come into view they'll immediately stop what they were doing and act – reluctantly – a bit more proper.

maybe you don't see romantic!f/o's evil deeds as clearly as everyone else, which is why you sometimes end up making them do the right thing. you bring a "treat others how you want them to treat you" mentality to the function that f/o might not get at first, but it's the intention that counts...

defending romantic!f/o infront of your friends is kind of a pain, though. everyone is so sure there are no kinder sides to them except you, because you've seen them be soft around you... but hey, it's kind of difficult to believe it when no one else witnesses their kindness...

both your platonic and romantic f/os are protective towards you, which makes them not get along too well. romantic!f/o believes you are wasting time with people like platonic!f/o, and platonic!f/o fears that romantic!f/o may be plotting something evil with how well you both have been getting along. you could try to make them tolerate being around each other but, fair warning, it could give no fruitful results...

f/o may not be the most emotive person out there, but that's just fine for you! you don't mind that your partner is not super affectionate

however... f/o has been trying to make a change... they want to make it clearer how much they appreciate you (or maybe they just feel more needy?!)

anyway, they made it their duty to try and be more affectionate with you

at first, they bring you the sort of stuff you like: small trinkets, your favorite food... you name it. and they expect you to get the message. it's likely you won't if they keep having a marinesque way of showing affection... /silly

then they tried to be a tinsy bit more obvious... by placing their hand on your shoulder. f/o thinks that will give you direct assurance that they love you, but you only turn around and ask them if something is wrong. they may start to wonder if they are that usually aloof, given how the hints fly over your head

in the end, they decide to give up on their plan... sort of! they decide to tell you what their intentions were; they just wanted to be more affectionate towards you but didn't know how !

even if you tell them that they don't need to be more affectionate, they reply – with that serious face of theirs – that they want to; not because of what you may feel but because they want to show parts of themselves that they didn't know existed previous to having you as their partner

slowly, they learn what their ways of showing affection are, and you too! maybe they are not the most conventional when it comes to it, but it feels very them, and that's what you love about it !

letting f/o preen your wings... imagine you are mindlessly talking about something and they notice a feather that is no longer attached to your wings so they gently pull it out. it felt real nice to have it not bothering you any longer but maybe they should warn you before they do that...

f/o absolutely loves your wings, by the way. they love being wrapped in them, they love taking care of them... maybe they even nuzzle into them if they like the touch of feathers? they think they suit you so well!

^ if you ever told f/o that you are insecure about your wings, they would make it their duty to show you that they love them and that you shouldn't be ashamed of them!

those special hugs where you not only wrap your arms around them but also your wings... f/o feels so protected whenever you do that (almost as if you were their guardian angel... omg so corny!)

not being able to cuddle with f/o without (metaphorically) melting. they want cuddles so badly but they are just like a human heater, and that's terrible during summer! (although it has its perks during winter...)

helping each other during summer so neither of you get heat strokes: hydrating well, putting bags of ice on spots that regulate body temperature, etc etc. you have tons of fun together but it's also good to be careful !

could I pls request a (preferably platonic or familial) calm F/O with a nervous/shy who is soothed by them? Thinking of an F/O who acts almost as a passive form of reassurance for their frantic S/I, just their presence alone is enough to comfort S/I.
