I didn't know what to write here.

hi this is my main blog. I post art usually. Sometimes I also whinge heedlessly and blather fecklessly. I do not know how to conduct myself on the internet.

I am an enigma and I cannot be known. Except for the people whom I follow/who follow me who know me from prior experiences. And also all of the information I freely volunteer about myself.

My morally complicated woman. Is she trying to be a good person? Yes. Is she succeeding? Probably not.

Everything bad she does is fully and 100% her fault and she is fully cognizant of that. She very quickly became numb to the guilt, because it's just easier not to think about. She is disgustingly self-aware.

Her children are both severely dysfunctional to the point they would probably both be institutionalized if it weren't for Circumstances, and this is at least 35% her fault. (55% their dad's fault, 5% their granddad's fault, and 5% society's fault) She feels bad about this in theory but also gives like zero shits about them in practice, because she didn't really even want to have children in the first place.

I felt like drawing all of my pretties for no reason in particular. Except the one I just drew even though she is very fun to pose. Sorry Leone my lovely insane girl. I really like how the colors came out on Violet (the one w/ purple accessories). I also like how the colors came out of Fuchsia (the one w/ the glowing sword) but to me her hair looks too yellow. Idk sorry the quality is horrible. I will post close ups under the cut.

Symptoms include:

posting on reddit at midnight, then waking up in the morning feeling emotionally hung over like you just went on a metaphysical bender

thinking, "oh, god... all of the assholes over there must think I'm such an idiot!"

feeling the urge to delete your post

checking your email to see if anyone has brutally torn you apart yet

not actually responding to any of the comments you got because you are too nervous to check your notifications

not using reddit again for several months because it is clearly bad for you

I'm pretty sure I looked like a thief to the book club who saw me scuttle over to the sci fi and fantasy section and grab the book I had been eyeing for the past twenty minutes before sneaking away with a hyper-vigilant glance backwards, as if to check for anyone following me.

I was looking through some old drafts of fanfiction that I wrote of my own OCs a few months ago and I saw this paragraph and I was like "huh, that's kind of Kendal-core," and then I started drawing this sketch and then my hand hurt so I had to stop, and then I didn't finish it for three months because I didn't feel like it, until today, when I figured I might as well just post it as is (with added colors) if I'm never going to finish it.

To be fair, I only know this because I like to use imperial and metric units in all of my character reference sheets to communicate height and weight because I have definitely seen non-Americans express confusion over the imperial system before, and I want my measurements to be easily readable by people outside of my country since the internet is and should always be an international space. It's not like I'm superior or anything, I just happen to hold a certain viewpoint that has led me to develop a very obscure skill that I do not need in my daily life almost ever, because I still do not understand kilometers or degrees in celsius.
