On april 17th 2024, my favorite band released a new single and this project started to build in my head. I had thought of doing a fan opening before but this song activated the Visions and daydreaming, which are the essential starting points of any creative project. I found that a song sang in english by a japanese band about friendship was a perfect fit for a hypothetical animated show. anyway It's MY unreasonably ambitious project so I get to chose the music

It was really fun to draw and animate everything!! I did it at 12fps and even sometimes at 10fps cause I hate in betweens frames with a burning passion, they are the quickest way for sending me to animation burnout so sorry ik the animation couldv'e been smoother at times. Oh also editing, the editing software is my ennemy, couldn't stop making frames glitch and stuff. but yeah apart from that I had a good time :)

I tried to include typical anime opening shots such as title screen on big blue sky, action shot during the chorus where the protags fight air, looking up at the sky while the sun comes out, and laying on grass

also like the song this op is centered around the main six characters and their friendship (assuming the first season of Aurora the animation TM would cover the entirety of arc 1), and the hug was probably my favorite thing to animate :D
