#comic aurora

kendal - mostly the same, except with a more flowy shirt (that looks like his act 2 one because i LOVE that one), and a blue cloth wrapped around his waist. also, he doesn't wear his shoes properly. is that something a one month old might do? also, he's very, very tall!

alinua - curly hair that looks like a cloud, with flowers tangled between the hair strands, green clothes that look they've been woven by a self-taught weaver... living alone in the wild is tough, but alinua makes it look easy and wears it like the newest fashions !

erin - a few of my instagram followers say he looks a bit steampunk-ish, which was not the intent... but i can see it where they're coming from. it's the white shirt and corset, isn't it. either way, most important of all is his floppy hair and the purple cape that screams status! it's clear for all to see; this is a scholarly and learned man! it is also clear that this is an annoying man, in the way only overconfident nineteen-year-olds can be.

falst - i keep wanting to make falst's signature colour a light blue, but somehow the guy only ever looks good in grey. i really tried putting colour on him, but he looked way too silly, so i had to give up. anyway. he's wearing a shirt that's too big and hanging on for dear life, tightening the wider sleeves around his arms with random strips of fabric, and his pants are perhaps a bit small. he also has much more fur over his body because i think he looks cute like that.

dainix - only thought to give him curly hair pretty late into the design process. i think he looks very cute like this! also, i thought the golden coloured armour was very stylish. i also love drawing the tip of his hair as a little flame...

tess - i wanted her outfit to show off her physique and her skin, because i like rendering the metal so much. i just think its so cool... she's also has a rich purple cape, like erin, only she wraps it around her waist when not wearing it. i really like matching designs between siblings, so tess and erin share a portion of their palette!

im thinking about doing a bonus act 2 versions, even though very few of them would have significant changes.

i also wanted to try my hand at some logos... couldnt decide which of the moons looked better, so i decided to go with both. really wanted to fit life magic in there somewhere but in the end decided to constrain myself to only three themes: light, void, and the moons!

and a bunch of great runes... originally i was only meant to do the void rune, because i plan on taking a crack at a void dragon (as erin) design later (among others), and i wanted the rune on his chest to resemble the dragon logo in the title while not looking too out of place beside the other runes... but then i felt i had to do a rune for the lady as well... and then i thought i might as well do all of them...
