😭My daughter, Farah, has a severe renal tubular disorder that causes dangerously low potassium levels and blood acidity. The condition can lead to extreme weakness, muscle paralysis, cardiac complications, and is considered a form of chronic kidney failure. She has been admitted to the ICU twice after life-threatening cardiac episodes. Medical reports confirm that she urgently needs continuous treatment and close monitoring, but the medications and medical services she depends on are unavailable💔🥹

"Farah had to undergo an urgent procedure and remains in the hospital. Her condition deteriorated—her potassium levels dropped to 2.2—forcing us to keep her in the hospital to receive intravenous potassium."

These are extremely low levels of potassium, putting Farah at risk of cardiac arrest. Intravenous supplementation of potassium must be done slowly - going too fast also endangers one's heart. This means Farah has to stay at the hospital, which, for a child like her, is very distressing. It is distressing for Wesal too.

"I feel like I am the one who will collapse to the ground, dead. I simply don't have the energy left; I am not a superhuman robot—I am a human being with limited stamina. The strain of standing, the constant vigilance and caution, and the need to monitor the IV drip—watching it fall drop by drop because the flow rate cannot be increased without risking adverse effects on the heart—have all taken their toll."

This is the second time that Farah has been admitted to hospital in a very short time. It is very costly, but there is no other option. The potassium supplements that Farah should be receiving have been unavailable for months now. We must keep Farah alive so she can be evacuated by the WHO when the opportunity arises.

I am a mother of three children from Gaza. 😔

Since the beginning of the war, I have lost my home and everything I owned. 🏚️💔 I have lived through days of hunger, fear, and displacement with my children, moving from one tent to another and seeking safety wherever we could find it. 😢⛺

During our displacement, a vehicle near our tent was targeted, causing severe injuries to me and my family. 💥💔 My injuries were the most critical. I was hit by shrapnel near my heart, as well as in my lungs, liver, and pelvis. 🩸

I spent several months in the hospital 🏥 and underwent multiple surgeries to remove fluid from around my heart and lungs, until I was finally able to breathe again without medical machines. 🙏

Today, I am still suffering from severe breathing difficulties, limited movement, and intense pain caused by the shrapnel inside my body. 😔 Some fragments cannot be removed because doing so could put my life at greater risk. 💔

I am humbly asking for your support 🤲 to help cover the costs of my surgeries, medical treatment, and ongoing hospital care. 💔🙏

My name is Bilal. I am a 35-year-old father of four children 👨‍👧‍👦 from Gaza. I lived a simple life with my family. I worked hard every day to provide my children with a decent life and a better future.

But the war took everything from us… 💔

In a sudden bombing, my home was destroyed, and the place that once brought my family together became nothing but ruins. I lost several members of my family, and I, my wife, and my daughter were injured, leaving us with deep physical and emotional suffering.

After losing my home, my job, and my only source of income, I became unable to work because of my injuries. My responsibilities became greater than my ability to provide. Today, I live with my children in a small, worn-out tent ⛺ that does not protect us from the heat of the sun ☀️, the cold of winter ❄️, insects 🐜, or rats 🐭 that have become part of our daily struggle.

Even the little food we manage to get 🍞 does not remain safe for us, as the rats eat it, and my children cannot eat it afterward. We are living in extremely difficult conditions, trying only to survive through fear and hardship 💔.

The tent where we live is located near the yellow line, and we have nowhere else to go or a safe place to shelter. It breaks my heart to see my children suffering while I cannot provide what they need 😢.
