Thanks to the generous donations of 24 people, Omar was able to take his mother to the doctor this morning! This is a fantastic step in the right direction, and i want to personally thank everyone who found his campaign through tumblr and donated to him.
Unfortunately, the doctor has requested an additional 150 dollars to cover treatment costs and pay all additional medical fees. This is in addition to the price of the appointments she will need to go through and the medication she will need to take. Unfortunately, the medical situation in Gaza, like everything else, is scarce, and doctors have increased the price of everything in response.
I am asking everyone who donated to Omar's campaign in the past to please donate to him again. His most consistent donor is me, and I work part time for minimum wage and have my own bills to pay. I wish i could afford to sustain his family by myself, but i can't. I need help. I never wanted to be someone who begs on the internet, but that's what I have to do.
