[Twins] The twins, what can I say about em… Rather, what CAN’T I say about em. I’ll tell you; they’re kind, charitable, and always have the people’s interests at heart. They definitely DIDN’T force me to stop selling weaponry and infect an entire town for the sake of their ‘Grand Project.’ …That was sarcasm, if that wasn’t clear. I was forced to hand in any weapons I had, but I decided to hide em before they got the chance to check. Hey slugger, if you see em around, don’t let them ask for the supplier, heha!

[Shop] Heha, this ol’ bundle of cardboard. Nick’s Knacks is the name. I’m Nick, these are my Knacks. Pretty cut and dry. I got plenty of doo-dads lying around. Except for weapons. The Twins made sure of that. I’m always putting new things on sale though, so make sure to stop by every once and a while, slick!

[Wind] You know, rumor had it that there’s a wind spirit ‘round these parts. Nothin’ too terrible, lil’ thing just enjoyed the occasional prank, that’s all. You’ll notice I said “had” there since, as of recent, the poor thing is locked in a cage by the twins. Said somethin’ about wanting to get people out of the area. …Hey, ain’t you one of the shmucks that work for ‘em? You mind explainin’ that, chum?

[Wind] (After Habub fight) Looks like someone’s finally seein’ straight. Those twins ain’t nothin’ but trouble, I tells ya. …Hey. Don’t beat y’self up too hard, ace. Y’know what they say. First step to change is freein’ the wind spirit your bosses locked up as a push factor. …or somethin’ like that. I ain’t no wise fella.

[Dandy] Ah, Dandy. Runs a bar nearby. Don’t tell no one, but they really like seeing the place packed. If you stumble upon some friends ‘round here, stop and sit at the ol’ place. …Me? Nah, I’m too busy, gotta man the stations. Runnin’ between 3 separate stores ain’t easiest on the legs, heha!

[Before] Champ, when I tell you things were peachy before the twins, I’ma need you to fully grasp it with me. Imagine those canned peaches, take the syrup out and use it to water a peach tree, then use THOSE peaches to make into a peach cobbler. THAT’S how peachy we were. … Darn it, now I’m hungry. Anyway, things were real smooth sailing, is my point.

[Marauder] You’re sayin’ there’s some shadowy figure followin’ you around? Well that ain’t a shock, you’re in the domain of the Mouseless Marauder, squirt. She used to work for the twins but, one way or another, she don’t now. Had to guess, she ain’t a fan of seein’ the lead soldier and the lightner they yukked up in her town. Good luck to ya, heha!

[Marauder] (After Styla fight) Poor gal. No matter what, she’s always wantin’ to do the right thing. She cares for her fellow folks, but you don’t need me to tell you that. The Twins gave out quite the smear campaign against her when she lost the job. Though, frankly, their image is starting to slip. People are putting two and two together. I don’t think the two care at this point anymore. Somethin’ tells me they’re plannin’ somethin’ big, and I don’t wanna be around when it happens. Shame you’ll have to be, buddy! Heha!

[Monica] Monica? That ol’ jitterbug? She runs a music hall nearby, I tell ya, she can play any music there is, you know it, she can play it. Go stop by if there’s an earworm you’ve heard on your travels. To listen to it again or to drown it out, she isn’t picky. Maybe tell her to play my shop’s music, heha!

[Argebium] Argh, don’t get me started on that stuff. The twins treat it like some sorta nectar of the gods, like it’ll bring ‘em to paradise in a diamond limo or sumthin’. They say it’s about profits and efficiency, but if you ask me? Those old nuts were cracked by the stuff. I think they want it just to have it. I mean, who are they even gonna sell it to? Each other? That’s a bubble waitin’ to burst, heha!

[Friends] Heha, the friend group, what a bunch of scamps we are. Me, Dandy, Monica, and Ray, we’re practically the only fun left in this damn place if you ask me. Been buds so long, but I still remember when we first met. Believe it or not, we met in the Inhale Jail, those twins were always making up reasons to send folk there. Of course, we tried to break out all the time, and of course, we failed, heha! Eventually we got out by Styla raiding the place, and they never cared enough to collect us back. Heard word their plans are almost ready, and collecting some stragglers will just delay it. But back to the ol’ miscellany, though, it’s a good time, hanging with them. Good folks.

[Train] Blinkerton of all folks gave ya trouble, huh sport? I mean I get ya raided the train, but I didn’t expect the ol’ ditz to actually do anythin’ but suck up to the bosses. Things weren't always like that, for the record. Blink was a chill guy, didn’t want no harm to nobody. After the twins made their influence known though, it’s like he’s been under a spell of sorts. Poor sucker.

[Ray] Ray, huh? The lil rascal takes pride in their illusions, I'll tell ya that. They love showing ‘em off, especially their lifelike side. Recently they’ve perfected it so they can actually fight, so if you’re looking for a challenge, talk to ‘em. Though, they aren’t much of a fighter themselves, so you’ll just be fightin’ air, haha.

[Ray] (Before the climax) Ray… They’ve been feeling off recently, and I mean REAL recently. One moment, they’re bright and cheery, the next… they feel dark and foreboding. Like a light switch was flipped. …Do you mind checking up on them? Trust me, I’d do it myself, but y'know, business. Don’t wanna risk stepping into enemy territory.

[Ray] (Epilogue) RAY, YOU CRAZY CREATIVE, YOU! Heha, you’re tellin’ me you had Tuse make a dark world DURING the whole spider situation? Ya’ll are lucky no one was hurt during your little detour!
