There's nothing in communism that says we have to kill people, on the contrary the goal is to emancipate people.

So communism. Let me tell you the story of my ancestors. If you're tired of hearing the stories about Ukraine, so here's different one for you. I was born in Ukraine, but my parents are from Chuvashia. So it's gonna be the story about how communism was established in Chuvashia.

When communists came to power they obviously decided to change the whole system how society and the government must operate in order to put communist ideology into practice. As we all know communism idea was to get rid of all private property, get rid of rich ppl and money in general. So how... do you think they did that?

Because people didn't want to get rid of their private properties, they didn't want to get rid of owning their animals, their houses, their lands. Mind you, we're talking now not about billionaires, but simple people who just have a house, a horse and some peace of land. Due to communism ideology none should own anything. Bc owning things corrupt ppl's minds, right. Everything must be mutual, belong to the party, to the community.

So in the name of greater good, in the name of future communism, communists did all that to people (whether they liked it or not) by force. It wasn't a totalitarian regime back than. It were devoted communists who believed in the rightness of this idea.

My ancestors were merchants. They weren't super wealthy billionaires, but they had a house, had horses and a land with beehives. When communists came to do them justice, they robbed everything from their house, took the horses and then burned the beehives and the house all together to punish them for being 'wealthy'. Then of course, my grand grand grand father and mother were sent to Siberia to a hard labor. That's how it was done in the name of communism. It was all done by force. Thouthands of ppl were killed in the process.

And that's, by the way, the reason why we in East Europe and russian federation now are so poor in comparison to the West Europe and USA.

Now. You might think it was just done badly, there's another, better way. No. There's no other way. Because people would not like to give up their properties. They won't like to give up owning things. So you'll have to force them, which mean you gonna take away their properties and it's not about luxury mansions, but about every single flat and house. Otherwise, it won't be communism. And when you do something by force you build a dictatorship. That's just how things work.

Now, in order to force everyone into the same way of life means people should get rid of their previous identities and embrace a new one - the identity of a comrade, an equal to everyone. Which means the difference in culture and language, and self expression became... problematic. Because everyone must have equal rights, same houses, same clothes, same peaces of furniture, same ideology of communism in their heads. God forbid, you're religious or something. Or you like luxury things. You like golden rings, for example. Bc gold is rare and there's not enough golden rings for everyone. So owning golden rings is wrong, bc not everyone can have them. And owning anything in general is wrong, so you won't have a single golden ring anyway. If you think it's too harsh - then you're not a true communist, you still have some capitalist desires in your head. But anyway... back to the same ideology in your head.

So how do you imagine this can be achieved? By force, of course. Which lead us to the ethnic cleansing, mass deportation, erasing of people's national identity, their culture and language. And of course ppl wouldn't like that, so again you'll have to do it all by force. Which lead us to the dictatorship. Because you can't establish a new ideology, a new way of life without forcing every single one to the same idea. You can't do it without dictatorship. And that's how it was done in ussr, that's how it was done in China, and that's how it was done in North Korea.

Now, the absolute power corrupts absolutely. And absolute power achieved those who were leaders of the communists movement. They were the one who owned golden rings. Bc human desire to own things exists. They weren't some Buddhist monks, who spent decades in isolation to get rid of such desires, mind you, bc religion is bad and wrong anyway, right? They weren't some Shaolin warriors with super discipline to stop them from actually simply robbing others all for themselves. They were simple, ordinary people. And what simple and ordinary people do when they have an opportunity?

So you can't be a 'victim of idea', sure. You can't. But you're always the victim of how this idea is gonna be put into practice. And the history showed us how the idea of communism was put into practice.

The Russians are simply burning everything alive in the Donetsk region.

White phosphorus ignites spontaneously and burns at temperatures above 800°C. When it hits a person, it causes deep chemical and thermal burns. The workers were in shelter at the time of the strike and were not injured.

It must be a true marvel of modern cloning. Every single night, thousands of little putins bravely march out to load the artillery shells. A whole squadron of putins sits at the control desks, carefully aiming ballistic missiles at children's hospitals and power grids. And let's not forget the flock of putins actively piloting kamikaze drones into residential apartment blocks at 3 AM.

The sheer multitasking required is phenomenal!

And thank goodness the enlightened West has figured out this brilliant loophole. Since we’ve collectively agreed that the other 140 million people are just helpless, innocent bystanders tragically caught in the crossfire of the tanks they built and drove, it makes perfect sense to keep rolling out the red carpet.

Why should anyone face actual consequences, social isolation, or a boycott? As long as the West keeps furiously whitewashing the blatant complicity of an entire society, we can all enjoy the gymnastics finals with a perfectly clear conscience.

Just keep repeating the comfortable mantra to sleep at night: the drones fly themselves, the bombs drop by magic, and it's all just one very, very busy man's fault.

Even here, I look at my feed, and it's Ukrainian mutuals talking about what's going on and non-Ukrainian ones just waiting it out. Waiting us out.

Communism didn't fail because of "state capitalism." It didn't fail because Eastern Europeans are just incapable of implementing it. It fails because it eats everything, manages poorly, refuses to accept it's not a good fit and insists NATURE ITSELF must conform to its idealism, or else nature itself is out of line and needs correcting. It cannot function.

And everywhere it goes, it runs people into the ground for generations, making everything worse, every generation, infecting neighbors and insisting, "if we just force MORE PEOPLE to interact with this system, if we all just tighten our belts more and more, it WILL work (probably!)" Just for people to die in droves so some proud commisar can brag falsely about their accomplishments and raise bogus assed museums and historical societies about the false achievements.

Cuba wasn't destroyed or checked by the US. It was an artificial society upheld solely through Russian and then other infusions of gasoline and diesel. And every time communism fails, they sniff, turn their noses up and say, "It didn't work, therefore, it wasn't real communism." Or blame the CIA for the failures, or say it wasn't given enough time to mature.

Socialism is a noxious and infectious disease that despoils healthy economies and trades the future for strutting and preening today, in ways worse than the most consumerist and flippant of capitalist ones. It's all of the toxic industrial excess with none of the functional government to reverse-course and deal with the corruption, because the state becomes the industry becomes the entrenched corporate interests with no checks or real interest in changing. A devil in a hell you cannot try and is beholden only to itself and its own best interests, not best practices.

The body of a child born in 2023 was recovered from under the rubble.

The search and rescue operation is ongoing, people may be trapped under the rubble.
