Hi I'm Chark, my real name is Chuck or Charlie, I'm 18 years old, and I do art for fun and hope to turn it into my fulltime career. I usually draw animals/furries but occasionally draw humans. I draw my OCs a LOT. Ofc I also do fanart for whatever my current hyperfixation is on lol

Q: Tf is your username? A: Madadh Lasrach is Scottish Gaelic for (a rough translation) of Charred Wolf, which was my previous username before my friends came up with Chark Hoes, which is a play-on-words of my irl name and I thought it was funny so I made it my main handle lol.
Despite the fact that I am a furry artist and can only draw men lol, I am a straight man (soooo many people think I'm gay lol) I'm an ally though ofc. Straight men are allowed to like doomed yaoi lmao /silly
I'm also a musician, I went to a music school for 4 years and I play guitar and piano

Q: Art programs? A: I mainly use Medibang Paint Pro but sometimes I use ibis. I'm too broke rn for anything else lol. Whatever program I used is always tagged in my posts. (I use an older kinda pirated version of medibang though lol– I ain't paying 60 smth dollars for an art program that used to be free lmao)

OC Info!
Vile: Large grey and green half-dire wolf, half-dragon man. He's immortal (physically and mentally in his 30s) and possesses dark, magical powers. He's also a highly trained warrior and soldier and is very intelligent. He has wings and can fly, and can also breath fire. He's currently corrupted/possessed by an old evil god.
Ben: Brown and white stuffed animal (dog) that came to life and can transport himself into any/all created worlds and universes. The ultimate self-insert type character. He's just a little guy, physically 15 years old but mentally he's still quite young. Has plot armour™️ (no hurting my boy!). He's friendly and naive, likable and kind, an overall good boy. He has a permanent crooked jaw and speech impediment. Currently visiting Vile's world and is determined to become his friend.
Gold: Large gold half-coyote, half-dragon man, same species and world as Vile, but he was born without wings (making him an "outcast"). Is covered in black markings from the same corruption that Vile has. Is a skilled warrior and soldier and is Vile's right hand man and childhood best friend. Possesses no magic of his own but will absolutely beat anyone in hand-to-hand combat. He can be a little dim at times but he's extremely loyal and defensive. Currently has a huge unrequited crush on Vile.
Chuck: My fursona, a sort of hyena, sabertooth, wolf mix (but mostly hyena). He's basically just me.
Hunter Lycantoothe: A 19 year old barbarian werewolf and self-proclaimed orphan. His parents/pack are still alive, but they left him to die as a young child because they thought he was too weak to waste resources on raising him. Ironically, Hunter survived and grew up to be the strongest of them all. Currently on a wild adventure with his newfound friends while hiding from his estranged family who are now wanting him back (for an unknown yet assumed-to-be malicious purpose).

Okay so Ben is the oldest, the second eldest is Dutch (the black and white one), then its John (the yellow one), and then the other three are the youngest, and are triplets (named Sniffer, Sneaker, and Skipper). And yes lol Dutch is missing his nose but that's okay we love him nose or no nose

I dont actually remember if I've mentioned this on my blog before but in case I haven't for those who care:
I am a proud ally of the lgbtq+ community, and I'm also a trans man!

I'm a transgender man (ftm, he/him), I came out when I was 6 years old and started my social transition when I turned 7. Yes I know that is very early and I'm very lucky to have been given the opportunity to start as soon as I did. I have a very supportive parent who actually listened to me and got me professional help as soon as she realised all the signs I was giving.
I started seeing lots of gender specialists, therapists, psychologists, and etc and when I was 10 I started going on puberty blockers. This meant that I never went through female puberty. Which is fucking awesome btw. Never had a period. Never got tits. :D
When I was 14 I started taking HRT (testosterone) and finally began male puberty. I was stealth for a long time (this means I didnt tell anyone I was trans and just passed as a cis man) because I was scared, but then when I was 15 I felt more safe and so I came out to all my friends and started to be proud about my journey and stopped keeping it my secret and burden. I no longer hide that I'm trans, but I dont make it my entire identity either. I view myself as just a regular man that just happened to be born a little different.
I turned 18 in January and recently just started my surgical transition by getting a full hysterectomy. It went very well and now I'm on track to getting bottom surgery in the (hopefully) near future!
I'm proud in my journey so far and I'm very happy living as my true self. I've been fully transitioned as a man far longer than I had been trying to live as a girl and despite all the hardships I've been through and the state of the world right now, I'm excited for the future and I've never been happier.
Sometimes I feel a little distant from the rest of the queer community, given that I transitioned so early and I'm a very low-key, traditionally masculine straight white man lol, but damn it pride month is for me too and I'm gonna celebrate!
Anyways this was just a very long way of saying that I heavily support the queer community, trans people, trans youth especially, the use of puberty blockers & early transitions, and etc. Have a lovely pride month everyone :D

I was bored so I drew the TADC cast (minus caine) as furries
As always close ups and yap session under the cut
Coming up for the designs of each character was fairly easy and I knew what animals I was gonna make them all. The main challenge was Zooble, I wasn't sure what to do and what to include and just ended up settling on my own chimera design and matched the colours and patterns and then made their head to be a triangle shape. Was gonna give them wings too but I got lazy lol
I really liked the idea of Gangle being a cobra, not just because it would make sense because gangle's body is just a ribbon and a snake is just a scaley noodle, but also I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to make the hood be one of her masks. I wasn't sure if I should make her head the same red as her body or if I should keep it white. I might change it next time I draw her.
Kinger's design is definitely my favourite. He's just so silly I love him. Was gonna draw his big blue cloak but I got lazy lol. I'll end up drawing the rest of everyone's outfits next time I draw them. I plan to do a few screen caps of them soon.
I made Ragatha a sheep dog just cus I thought it'd be a cool opportunity to make her hair texture the main feature and I like what I came up with but it probably could be better. I did draw that one at like 4am so it might be a bit messier than usual lol
