Greetings, ladies, gents, space explorers and fellow extraterrestrial beings from previously uncharted worlds!
I am currently on the hunt for some new partners who’d be willing to dive into a world filled with intergalactic chaos, advanced technology, aliens, lasers, spaceships, more lasers (you can never have too many of those), tonnes of drama, conflict, some good old fashioned romance and a story that leaves us hanging off the edge of our seats in anticipation for the next reply with the occasional plot twist being thrown in to keep us on our toes.
PARTNER REQUIREMENTS/WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR:
-A minimum of three to four properly fleshed out and detailed paragraphs per response written in third person past tense. A decent grasp on spelling, grammar and punctuation is also required as well.
-At least one to two responses per day/every other day when possible. I am also open to planning a writing schedule provided you are capable of consistently responding at least three or more days per week. Please also bare in mind that I am in the AEST (eastern Australian time zone), meaning there’s a chance that I could be hours or even a day ahead of or behind you depending on what part of the world you call your own, but I am still fairly compatible with pretty much anyone who is in an area outside of my time zone and will happily find ways to accommodate or work around any differences in my partner’s schedule/availability if possible.
-A willingness to commit to a long term rp/being a long term writing partner and being open to writing more than just one story.
-20+ writers and characters only. No exceptions.
-Being open to at least occasionally engaging in non-rp related ooc chatter as well as Actively engaging during any planning/plotting phases of the rp.
-Willing to rp against/pair your character with a alien character who may have/has fur, fangs, claws, a tail, scales, antennae, extra limbs, etc. basically anything that doesn’t look like a blue skinned human. I do not play human main characters so please take all of this into very careful consideration before messaging me for an rp.
-Being comfortable with writing potentially explicit scenes that contain dark themes/sensitive topics such as combat, violence, gore, injuries, trauma, illnesses, etc (any and all boundaries will be discussed prior to plotting or writing these sorts of scenes).
-Being comfortable with writing out smut based scenes rather than just fading to black. I am also seeking to have a 50/50 story to smut ratio where possible, though focusing on the story and major plot lines will always be the top priority out of the two. I am also not looking for/willing to use strict bottom/top dynamics when it comes to any spicy scenes so if your characters are strictly submissive or unreciprocal when it comes to anything that takes place in the bedroom, I’m not the rper for you.
-Slow burn romances that allow the characters to see the best and worst sides of each other as their feelings progress. Anything that adds extra tension, drama or causes changes to their relationship dynamics and offers us a potential subplot to explore is also heavily encouraged.
-I have a strong preference for MxM pairings when it comes to rp’s, though I am more than willing to write a FxM pairing as well. I do not play female main characters so please do not approach me if you intend to play the role of the male for that pairing.
-Discord only. I will not rp on any other platforms.
WHAT I AM NOT LOOKING FOR:
-one liners, one worders, rushed out replies, frequent spelling mistakes that go uncorrected, constantly switching between tenses, godmodding or having my characters controlled.
-Android characters/heavily augmented cyborg characters, fantasy characters, characters with psychic or telekinetic abilities, overly shy or emotionally fragile characters who need to be taken care of constantly, characters who need to be constantly guided by mine.
-rp’s that don’t take place in a sci-fi setting.
-time travel or dimension hopping based settings or abilities.
Still with me so far? If you are then awesome! Now that we’ve got all that out of the way, let’s move onto the best part of the ad itself: the plots.
As of now I am currently looking to write at least one of the plotlines that I have listed down below. I am not looking to do any other kinds of plots or rp’s that take place in a very different setting to mine at the moment, so please do not approach me if you are looking to rp something that either wouldn’t be able to be incorporated into any of these plots or are outside the type of rp’s that I’m looking to do.
A highly wanted criminal manages to sneak aboard a small ship by posing as a member of their crew in order to avoid being captured by the alliance. All but one person is fooled by their story and vows to find a way to prove their suspicions to be true even as the rest of the crew remains oblivious to the threat lurking amongst them.
A ship full of nobles that are on a voyage to celebrate the betrothal of their heirs and the new alliance between their planets is boarded by one of the most notorious pirates in the known galaxies after it accidentally strays into their territory. The pirate then demands that they be given the heir to one of the noble families in exchange for sparing the rest of them. Fearing for the welfare of their planets and the fate that may befall their future spouse at the hands of the pirate, the chosen noble’s betrothed begs to be taken instead whilst being under the impression that someone will be sent to rescue them…..only to find that’s not the case as time passes by.
A low ranking alliance officer who has been separated from their crew during a mission gone wrong and is now stranded on a backwater planet is unexpectedly saved from a gruesome fate at the hands of a less than friendly gang of smugglers by a freelance cargo pilot who is intent on keeping their reasons for intervening under a very strict lock and key. The officer strikes a bargain with the pilot in the hopes of finding their way back to their crew, only for the party responsible for their predicament to attempt to stop this reunion from happening in any way possible once they learn of the officer’s survival.
The most feared pirate in the known galaxies faces off against one of the greatest captains the alliance has ever had in their midst and manages to gain the upper hand whilst the ship they are on is badly damaged from the battle going on outside……only to hesitate from making the final blow once they recognise the captain’s face as belonging to an old friend who they believed had betrayed them many years ago. With the ship heading on a collision course with the nearest planet the pirate is forced to make a tough decision and flees with the captain in tow, both parties more than aware of the consequences their choices may unleash upon them as their escape pod enters the planet’s atmosphere.
(Looking for someone to play as a human for this plot.)
With a history filled with countless wars that spanned across several centuries of heartache and loss, humans and aliens haven’t exactly come around to the idea of peacefully co-existing with one another just yet. Many people are more than happy to ignite the hate fuelled spark which made the cautious steps taken by both sides in their attempts to mend the rifts the wars had created less successful whilst those who’d hoped that the formation of a new alliance between the two species would prove to be beneficial rather than harmful were beginning to wonder if enough was truly being done in order to unite all those who inhabited the known galaxies themselves and allowing themselves to be swayed by the idea that the “old ways” were somehow better than things had been now. In a somewhat desperate gesture to prove otherwise, the alliance sends an alien to work onboard one of their human ships. Alas they are unaware that the person they have chosen to represent the new bond between human and alienkind has far more sinister intentions than simply refusing to get along with their new crew mates.
The life of a captain was one which was filled with unnecessary and sometimes completely unwarranted fame, danger beyond anyone’s wildest imagination, a reputation which was far more heavily influenced by any slip ups that the local rumour mongers had caught wind of than good deeds and decisions which always weighed heavily upon their shoulders regardless of the outcome. It was also a well known fact that captains could either bestow a certain kind of glory upon their crew through their heroic deeds, or make their lives the very definition of hell. When a captain who has a reputation for regularly putting their crew through the emotional wringer and a temper that has yet to be matched or tamed by anyone is assigned a new recruit after one of their top pilots is killed in action, chaos of an entirely different kind is born.
A newly deceased captain’s second in command is reluctantly chosen to lead the ship after a mission gone wrong and struggles to live up to the expectations that are placed upon them.
A runaway alliance soldier working a gig as a freelance cargo pilot bumps into one of their old crewmates and agrees to work alongside them in order to solve a mystery involving the sudden disappearance of several ships.
A notorious criminal is given one last chance of redemption by serving the alliance as part of the crew that captured them.
