I have also now added a sketch option, which is significantly cheaper than most coloured ones and also quicker for me to do :D
LDshop requires one to input a UID, a server, and then you pay like any other online payments thing. Payment will happen once the final drawing is complete, and I will give the customer my UID and server for the payment.

wandered across my local summer festival and ai 'illustrations' are plastered everywhere. the food trucks, the amusement park, the instagram menus, posters, ads, there's no escape. what an eye sore
for the record im not technially 100% anti-AI, in the sense that its a broad category of tech being lumped under one umbrella term so it feels over-zealous to say i hate all of it all the time forever. but i also think trying to discuss what it actually IS good for is difficult right now when i cant take one step without something trying to convince me to use chatgpt to summarize my life and speed up my hobbies and turn my friends into chatbots and optimize my life into oblivion. i am certain there is nuance to the topic but can we stop cramming the square peg into the round hole before you start trying to sell me on the legitimate benefits of the square peg. please.
here's my super-quick, easy-to-digest summary that i use when i can't spend more than like 15 seconds on it but need someone to know the basic distinctions:
generative AI - bad evil AI. chatbots, LLMs, image generators, etc. this the one that steals shit.
analytical AI - helpful medical AI. this the one that helps detect cancer early.
game "AI" - fake AI. 100% human created and dictated. this the one that determines game mob behavior n stuff.
^^ AND it’s important to note that not all analytical AI is GOOD AI.

Or analytical AI that takes genuine jobs (fuck you those who think AI can replace stem jobs, sincerely a statistician.) obviously for data that can never be sorted (Eg custom cancer vaccines that require a stupid amount of data, at that point it’s not an AI but a sorting tool of new power.) it should be used.
But do NOT use any AI for true stats. AI lies. It fakes, it omits. analytical AI used for sorting data? Fine. AI used for generating results of that data? NONONO. It will FUCK UP. Do not DO THAT. (Or if you do it, at least jnow the math yourself so you can check the fucking thing.)

Btw when they ask if you have questions some actual good options are stuff like “what’s a typical day like in this role” or “is this job open because someone is leaving or is this a new position”
Another good question I stole from a reddit post that has really impressed all interviewers (two job offers!) is: "let's say you hire me and in a year you're thinking you made a really great choice. What will I have done to make you think that?"
It gets them talking about what they're looking for in the role, thinking about how you could fit it, and lets you end the interview getting to reiterate how good you would be for the role and how enthusiastic you are for it.
ive had trans men ask me before how to overcome the insecurity/fear that they are transitioning just to escape misogynist treatment and wondering about the validity of their identity. the simple solution is that u must continue to engage and fight misogyny even when you are not a woman. prove your fear wrong
u really cannot out-validate an insecurity that u do not do the work to fight against the structure that supports it u know. i am the gender i am simply because it looked fucking yummy. the reason i dont experience doubts w it in this way is because any time i do i turn around to face the thing im 'running from' and punch it
in hindsight, growing up as an aromantic person who didn't know aromanticism was a thing...it woulda been really easy for me to assume that something was wrong with me, that I was "broken" or "missing" some piece of humanity.
luckily I was autistic, oblivious, and had a huge ego. it literally never occurred to me to frame it as a "me" problem. i just thought every single person i knew was a dumbass

Last year, I befriended a Catholic seminarian. We've gotten to be pretty decent friends. Seeing as he was staying in town for the summer and I wasn't, I entrusted him with caring for my plant.
He did a wonderful job, but as he was returning my plant to my custody, he explained "I watered her every other day, I gave her new dirt, moved her into the sunshine, prayed the rosary-"
"What?"
He looked at me, confused. "Isn't she a plant you pray with?"
"No," I said slowly. "She's a prayer plant. That's the... colloquial name of the plant."
Upon seeing his stricken face, I realized something went wrong. Turns out, this entire time, he's been including my plant in on his prayers and leaving her near icons.
Listen, totally cool. My plant becoming Catholic is a great deal for her not dying over the summer. But now I must navigate this interfaith household. Keep me in your thoughts.
