This is What I Called Life

one thing about people who have trust issues:

I hate endings. The truth is i hate beginnings too. I like middles, the steady sameness comfortable forever. But I guess I've been doing this long enough to know you don't always get to pick when life changes. So... I know I have no choice but to embrace this, and I'm gonna make it the best version of a next step that I can.

Human progress isn’t measured by industry. It’s measured by the value you place on a life. An unimportant life. A life without privilege. That boy who died on the river, that boy’s value is YOUR value. That's what defines an age. That's what defines a species.

其實人還是孤單一點兒好，誠心找人交朋友早晚要上當的，倒不如像你韋大人這樣虛虛實實、真真假假、嘻嘻哈哈地馬屁一拍，萬事不用動真格…倒也省心了。

Everything that's happened to us, good and bad, it made us who we are. And I don't think that I would change it even if I could.

Today we acknowledge a really terrible loss. (Alan Rickman) was as you all know, exceptionally hard working, intricately fair minded. And most importantly a fierce fierce friend. Now the pain we all feel at this dreadful loss reminds me, reminds us that while we may come from different places and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one.
